-Shelby's POV-

"What do ya want to do today?" Hunter asked after Dann called and told us that we were going to have a free day after Hunter does a radio interview. We aren't going back on the road until tomorrow, so we also got a hotel for tonight.

I thought for a few moments. "Let's cross another thing off of the bucket list..."

"Like what?" He asked.

"I don't know....maybe we could do multiple things! Like go muddin', I could go get a job and quit, ummm..." I pulled out my list. "You can drink 15 cups of coffee in one day, and we can go trampolining!"

"All in one day?" He asked.

"Oh yeah!" I said.

He smiled. "Let's do it!"

"We have to leave for your interview." Hunter's manager said.

"Okay." Hunter hopped up and pulled me along with him. "Can Shelby come?"

"Yes, that's fine." His manager walked out of the bus leaving Hunter and I inside.

"You're tour manager is a little strict..." I told him.

"Tell me about it!" He said dragging me out of the bus and towards the car that awaits us.

He sat with me in the back, while his manager sat up front.

"Okay Hunter. I know Dann told you that you can have the whole day to yourself-" Hunter looked over at me, smiled, then grabbed my hand as if what she just said brightened his whole day. "Buuuut..." We both groaned. "I don't want you kids doing anything reckless. I can't have Hunter hurt for the next show. You hear me?" His manager said.

"Yes master." Hunter mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Ummm, I said yes m-manager?" He said as a question.

His manager rolled his eyes looking back at us.

We finally arrived at the studio where the radio interview is held at. Its just a one story building with a few windows and one door in the front and another out back.

We all walked towards the building not talking much, but I couldn't help but notice that my hand was still placed in Hunter's. I couldn't help but crack a little smile.

"What're you smiling about?" Hunter asked.

"Ummm, I'm just really excited for what we are doing later...." I lied smoothly.

"Me too." He smiled.

We walked into the studio, and it seemed bigger inside than it looked outside.

Hunter's manager led us to a room with a sound board, two microphones and headphones. I'm guessing this is where the radio show is taking place.

A man in probably his mid 30's sits in a chair facing an empty one.

"You must be Hunter Hayes!" The man greeted Hunter. "So glad to finally meet you!"

Hunter smiled as he walked up to shake his hand. "You too!"

"Okay, well if you would sit in that chair right there." He pointed to the empty one infront of him. Hunter walked over and sat in the seat. "Thank you. In about one minute we will start. How this is going to work is i'm just going to ask you a few questions, and then you will play a song, and that's it!"

Hunter looked over at me. "Fair enough." He told the guy.

"Okay...5...4...3...2...1! Hey guy's! You are listening to Serious XM The Highway. We have a guest today! Mr. Hunter Hayes! So glad to have you here!

Hunter smiled. "Glad to be here!"

"So I hear that you are currently on tour for the summer, is that correct?"

"Yes sir!"

"What's your favorite part about performing live?"

Hunter's smile grows, like it always does when he talks about his fans. "I would have to say the fans. They are so wonderful and sweet! I love to meet my fans and I love how they sing along to my songs with me. It's just amazing."

"So I heard that whenever you're song Wanted came out on the radio, you freaked out.."

"Well of course I did! Hearing your voice on the radio is amazing, words can't even describe it...But I do think that my best friend freaked out more than I did..." I blushed knowing that it is completely true.

"Oh really? Who is your best friend?"

"Oh um, Her name is Shelby...I actually have her here with me today!" He pointed over at me.

"Oh! Hello Shelby!"

"Hi" I said faintly.

"So Hunter...you probably knew we would have a question like this in here...is there anyone special in your life?"

Hunter shrugs. "Define special..."

"Are you dating anybody?" The interviewer asked with a laugh.

"No sir I am not!"

"Ohhhh you ladies heard it here first, the one and only Hunter Hayes is single!" Hunter and him laughed. "Do you have your eye on anyone is particular?"

Hunter shrugged but I saw him steal a quick glance over at me. "Maybe..."

"Maybe? Oh please tell!"

Hunter shook his head. "Not yet...I'm waiting for the right moment."

"Okay, I won't push! I think it's time we hear a song?"

"Oh totally!" Hunter said, walking over and grabbing a guitar. He began to sing Storm Warning. Through the song, All I could think about was what he said. Why hasn't he told me he likes someone? I can't help but feel a little jealous. Why can't that person be me?
