Three feet ahead, three feet behind, stuck in the same situation of distress. It all seemed like a blurr to be honest.

"we have news," I faintly heard lily's voice entering through my thoughts, "we asked you all to come because we wanted to share it with you all at once,"

"James would you like to announce it?" lily smiled,

"we're having a baby!" James jumped with joy,

"what?" I couldn't stop myself from blurting out,

"I know, we didn't expect it either, it's not necessarily great timing but we're still happy," lily clarified,

The room was silent, I think everyone was thinking the same thing,

"Alright well, cool! Gotta start thinking of names than I guess," Siruis tried to lighten the mood,

"yeah, but we've still got time for all that!" James added,

"than we need to find a replacement," I spoke out,

"what?" lily seemed confused,

"The order? You have an important role at the ministry,"

"I'm not going out just yet, I'm not that pregnant,"

"right but it's your safety and the baby's first so as soon as you can you need rest," I tried to explain,

"hey! I know you want what's best for me but I can still be useful!"

"Alright, do paperwork with me!" I laughed,

"what you do paperwork?" James intervined, "but you already have your own sector to watch over and you lead the group, give out schedules and hours, isn't that alot?"

"Well the schedules get handed out cause I make them," I tried to justify,

"no he's right you're definitely doing to much," Remus finally added in his own opinion, "you don't sleep and it worries me that you're putting yourself under so much pressure,"

If only they knew. If only they knew half of what Dumbledore wanted to add to my list of duties. "well I don't have a choice someone has to get it done,"

"fine than let's work this out," lily stepped back in, "if you teach me how to properly do schedules and how the plans work I can stop working at the ministry and take over your paperwork and role as leader,"

"sure doesn't change the fact that you need a replacement," I added,

"you be her replacement," Siruis suggested,

"I can't be in both groups I still have a sector to watch over,"

"I'll take it," James and Siruis simultaneously both proposed,

"We'll cut your sector in half," lily said confidently, "give 50% to each James and Siruis and change their current sectors with one's closer to yours,"

"that is gonna be a lot of paperwork," I sighed,

"great, perfect for my training," lily grinned,

I was lucky to have such friends, honestly. I owed them everything.

"fine, fine," I decided to finally agree,

"oh by the way!" lily added with the biggest smile, "James and I are going to get married,"
