Blake sat in the tattoo parlor once again after school.

She waited for her turn and after a while she was finally able to get one. She showed the tattoo artist, Dani, the airplane tattoo that she wanted on her ankle.

"This your first tattoo?" Dani asked her as she prepared the stencil.

"No, I got three others" Blake said as she stared at the wall art.

"Cool."

The lady wiped off the part where Blake was getting her tattoo and placed the stencil on.

"You ready?"

Blake nodded and sat still until she finished.

"All set" the lady said after a few minutes.

Blake looked at it and nodded in approval.

She paid for the tattoo and tipped the lady

She paid for the tattoo and tipped the lady.

"Cool hair by the way" Dani said as she cleaned up the seat Blake just laid.

"Thanks, cool tattoos."

Dani nodded at her as both her tattooed covered arms were on display.

Blake left and rode around on her skateboard for a while.

She explored some parts of her town that she didn't even know existed. She took pictures and was glad she brought her camera.

"Hey mom" she said as she skated on a sidewalk.

"Hey sweetheart, are you almost home?" Susie questioned over the phone.

"Uhh yeah like ten more minutes why?"

Blake jumped off the curb and landed as she glided across the street.

"Just wondering."

Susie hung up on Blake and Blake shrugged it off as she continued to ride her skateboard.

Once she got home Susie sat on the island on the phone.

"Hey mom."

"Hey Blake."

It was silent between them as Blake grabbed a water.

"I got a surprise for you."

She furrowed her eyebrows and looked around.

"My birthday passed three months ago though" she said.

"I know, but I think you will like it."

Susie walked away and she walked back in holding a very bright yellow dress.

"Thanks?"

"I think it will look so good on you."

Blake looked at her mom like she was crazy.
