Wiana was about to do something which she wasn't planning to do anytime soon, as she got out from under the bed and retrieved the pistol from her bag.

I'm going to end this for once and for all, Wiana thought to herself.

Shayla was doing dishes when Aric tiptoed behind her and stood very close to her, and whispered in her ear, "Wanna go for a walk."

"Aghhh!" Shayla shrieked and turned around and Aric quickly covered her mouth with his palm, "Ssshhh! Why do you always scream?"

Shayla wanted to say something but her mind froze and butterflies erupted in her stomach. They were standing close with Shayla's back against the kitchen counter.

Aric felt goosebumps all over his body as his skin was over her lips. He felt hot, very hot. A tingling sensation bloomed from where her lips touched him.

Shayla's breath became erratic.

"Oh boy!" Respina spoke and whistled.

"Oh my!" Trivil spoke with a naughty smirk.

"Awww!" Leslie spoke dreamily

"What is happening mmm-hmm!" Basil spoke amusingly.

"Ooo la la!" Gabrien spoke with a wolf whistle.

"I like it!" Dane spoke while chuckling.

Aric quickly turned around and Shayla moved away from him.

Aric spoke, "You guys are mistaken-"

"Were you kissing?" Basil asked.

Shayla's eyes widened as she bellowed with her red face, "What! No!"

"Were about to kiss?" Respina spoke suggestively.

Aric looked at his stupid friends and spoke, "Huh? Hey no-"

"So we missed the kiss," Gabrein asked as he punched in the air dejectedly.

Shayla spoke, "Wait no-"

Leslie spoke enthusiastically, "You guys kissed! Omg! Are you guys in lo-"

"OKAY, STOP RIGHT THERE! I WAS WASHING THE PLATES AND HE STARTLED ME SO I SCREAMED AND HE PALMED MY MOUTH TO STOP ME FROM SCREAMING. THAT'S IT!" Shayla spoke in one breath.

"Oh, man. You guys broke my heart," Respina spoke dramatically.

After some more humorous drama, Aric along with Shayla went out for a walk. They were walking in silence, soothing comfortable silence.

"We both are wearing black," Shayla broke the silence as she pointed at his black t-shirt and her black one-piece.

"Twining, again," Aric spoke with a small smile.

"Something bad happens, always, when I wear black. And now you, too, are wearing black," Shayla spoke with a frown on her face and Aric found it very adorable as he spoke, "That's just your superstition. It's all inside your head. Also, don't you worry. I have bought an axe with me and I'm good at fights, you must be knowing that by now, for you have seen me in action, twice to be exact," Aric spoke and winked at her playfully.

Shayla giggled and said, "I never anticipated you being flirtatious or playful."

"I am not," Aric spoke smilingly.

"Really? Then what is this?" Shayla asked while raising her eyebrows.

"You are the first girl I have ever winked at," Aric spoke softly. "And you are the first girl with whom I am this much comfortable to joke around."
