FINDING OUT WE WERE MICROCHIPPED WAS A TURNING POINT. All of my fear and dread turned into anger and frustration. Jason is really where I draw the line. Him finding out his brother is still alive and torturing us has been eating him alive.

I've always wondered why Jason and I were so close. Yes, we're dating but we don't share the same bond like Spencer and Toby do. We're closer. We have each other. For him, he has me. I'm the only one he truly trusts. Not Ali and Kenneth for obvious, although he's starting to get better with Ali. Still, I'm all he has and he's told me that on multiple occasions. That's why it pains him. He can't figure out why someone who is supposed to love him is hurting the love of his life.

Spencer, Aria and I were sitting in Aria and I's living room trying to contact Ali. It kept going to voicemail. Jason even said he couldn't reach her.

Spencer was doing research on the chip currently stuck in our necks. "Did you find anything?" I asked her.

"Yeah, most microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and all they contain an ID number, but...ours feels bigger. It's like A modified it so that he could track our every move." Spencer explained and pulled up a video. I was feeling the same way. This definitely feels bigger than rice.

"Oh my god, what is that?" Aria asked as we saw a video of chip being removed from a dog.

"Somebody is removing their dog's microchip. We have to get it out somehow." I shrugged. I was not excited to play doctor to try and get it out.

"Yeah, on second thought, maybe we should just keep ours in." Aria replied sarcastically. No, I kinda agree.

"Maybe we should." I spoke up. It gives us an advantage. We now know A is tracking us and how.

"Bella, I was joking." Aria added quickly.

"No, I'm not. A doesn't know that we know he's tracking us. That's the only edge that we have over Charles and we have to figure out a way to use it." I explained.

A phone started beeping and Aria's hand went straight to the back of her neck.

"That's your phone." Spencer replied and Aria just shrugged. Charles has us on edge completely.

"Is it Ali?" I asked.

"Mona. We're on for tomorrow morning. Leslie finally agreed to talk to us." Aria let out and stood up. Great.

"Okay, Ali has to be there. Charles is her brother. She needs to know he's alive." Spencer huffed.

"I told Jason. He's been trying to reach Ali but it's going to voicemail for him too." I paused. "Either way she needs to be there because she might be able to tell us more. She might know who A is. And not just a name, but his face." I said and I dialed Ali's number. Voicemail once again. Fuck, Ali.

"Where is hell is she?" Spencer exclaimed.

The next day, the girls and I went over to Mona's and prepared for whatever conversation that was about to happen.
