tackling an enemy is never easy.
especially when the enemy is faceless and nameless,
threatening to spill every secret the girls have ever had.
and as you know, secrets never stay hidden in rosewood.

SPENCER WAS IN GARRETT'S CAR ALONE WHEN ARIA WARNED HER ABOUT HIM. She was able to make it out unsuspected, I think. Aria, Hanna, Spencer and I were sitting in Spencer's car.
"So it was just the two of you in his car alone?" Hanna asked. You'd think sitting with a cop would make you feel safe but in this town, it's just the opposite.
"I didn't know where else to meet him. It wasn't like I could ask him that stuff down at the precinct." Spencer huffed.
"How did you get away from him?" I asked.
"When you sent me that text, I told him it was from my mom. She wanted me home ASAP." She let out a breath. "Am I still shaking? I'm still shaking."
"Yeah, we're all shaking. Can you turn on the heat? You could make a slushy back here." Hanna retorted.
"Guys, why would Jenna give him that lantern?" Aria asked.
"You don't know that she gave it to him." Hanna replied. Well, it was Jenna who made it so unless he stole it, that's the only connection we have.
"What do you think? He bought it at the blind artists crafts fair? Of course she gave it to him. The question is, when did they become buddies? And why?" I went on. This is all so complicated.
"Bella, they grew up across the street from each other. His parents still live in that house. Maybe he's just bringing raw meat to Jenna's cat."
Raw meat...
"Toby lives there too and they don't have a cat." Spencer added.
"Then maybe he was bringing over raw meat for Jenna." Hanna suggested. More believable than a cat.
"Here comes Em." Aria pointed out.
"Isn't that Garretts car?" I asked as we saw his car pulling up to Jenna's.
"I think it is."
We watched Garrett walk into Jenna's. We got out of the car and started walking closer to the house.
"Can your shoes be any louder?" I asked Hanna as her shoes clanked the ground.
"Please. Jenna can't hear us. She's blind." Hanna replied. I'm beginning to think I'm spending too much time with her.
"You.." I trailed off.
"You know what I mean."
We looked in the window to see Jenna wearing lingerie and making out with Garrett.
Damn, I thought they were just friends. This is even worse. This is bad.
I can't believe we've been putting our trust into someone who's been routing for the other team. I knew he was suspicious.

Emily was rushed to the hospital today. Turns out she had an ulcer from stress. She overworks herself. Her dad was here by surprise and I don't know if it helped her or not.
