THE LAST FEW DAYS HAVE BEEN TIRING, TO SAY THE LEAST.
Jason decided to spend some time away from Rosewood, and while I don't blame him, I miss him. But he needed this time away. I wish I could have joined him, but things are heating up here.
In other news, Meredith did get the job at Rosewood so not only do I have to watch out for a psycho no-named freak, I also have to look out for a home wrecker.
Spencer has been keeping secrets from Toby about what really happened the night Jason crashed his car. I told her she could tell him, but she wants to protect Jason as much as she can. I appreciate it.
We found a website Maya created. We're trying to get into it and hopefully get some answers as to who killed her and possibly Ali. We don't know if they're connected. Caleb was able to get us in.
We were also trying to figure out what this eye tattoo means. Emily remembered seeing it that night at Ali's grave. Maya had it. Holden had it. Holden explained it was a "party" thing. I don't know if I trust it.
Spencer has really been going through it. She forgot to apply to college and tensions have been rising between her and Toby. She needs to start to calm down before she loses everything.
Aria, Spencer and I were at The Brew before school. Aria was forcing Spencer to look at the tattoo while I was just trying to get some coffee.
"Okay, I understand you're really upset right now, but can you please just look at this?" Aria begged, shoving her phone in Spencer's face. "It's a photo of Maya."
"Yeah, I saw it." Spencer said monotonously.
"I found it on her website last night, Spence. Look, there is a stamp on her wrist that matches the one Emily remembers from that night. Holden really did see her there." Aria went on.
"Yup." Spencer dryly replied.
Aria huffed. "Why are you not all go-go-gadget about this? This is big! This is a real link between Maya and that night." Aria asked and I stepped in.
"She's tired, Aria."
"Aria, I can't do this anymore, okay? I cannot keep running around looking for clues, I can't spend hours hacking into websites. Five days ago I literally forgot to apply to college. Do you get that? First, I drive Toby out of town, now this."
"It was just the early admissions deadline. You can still get in. Everything will be okay." I assured her.
"UPenn has been my dream school since I was eight, Bella, and yesterday I found my dream crumpled up in the bottom of a bag underneath my AP French and Physics homework. Which by the way, I got a B on. A B. So no, everything is not gonna be okay." Spencer rambled as we sat down with our coffee. "I'm dropping my Velma act. From now on, I'm Daphne. Because I have got a boyfriend to get back, and I have a college to get into." She kept going.
