AFTER THE FUNERAL, THE GIRLS AND I SAT IN THE RADLEY. We all had some things to talk about. We were currently talking about when Hanna told Jordan about the dollhouse and A.
"When did you tell Jordan?" Aria asked.
"Tell him what?" Hanna asked.
"This town, Charlotte, everything we went through." Aria replied.
"She means the things you can't google." Spencer added. This whole thing was scattered across every news site there was as a warning to be careful of who you trust. Where was my warning?
"When I knew I was falling in love with him." Hanna replied.
"Hmm, Liam and I aren't there yet, but I know he's gonna have a lot of questions when I get back." Aria said. She was planning on leaving tonight. I told her it wasn't a good idea. Trust me, as much as I want to go I can't.
"Are you sure you want to leave tonight? You know the cops wanna talk to us before we go." Emily said to her.
"Yeah, I've already missed a few days of work." Was Aria's response.
"We all have, Aria. We're staying." Hanna sassed back. Aria wanting to leave after the cops asked us to stay doesn't sit right with me.
"Okay, well my boss asked me to come back." Aria let out. We all just stared at her. "You guys, this wasn't an easy job to get. I can't lose it."
"They're gonna ask us questions about that night." Hanna let out.
"Yeah, we were all together and none of us left the hotel. What more is there to say?" Aria replied.
"I think the person the cops should really be talking to is right over there." I said and gestured my head over to none other than Sara Harvey. That woman is like a flea. They were asking her to sign, but she couldn't. Or she claimed we couldn't. "Can she really not sign her own name?"
"I still haven't told anyone about what happened, have you?" Emily asked us. I don't think I mentioned it to Jason. It hasn't really come up.
We all shook our heads.
"Do we really believe she doesn't remember?" Aria asked.
"I think she's lying. Just like how she lied about having Swedish Syndrome to get her sentence reduced.." Hanna remarked. Oh my...
"Stockholm syndrome. And it's a real thing." I corrected.
"She was never kidnapped, Bella. She was living out in the world. She chose to help Charlotte torture us." Hanna replied.
"You know, the judge didn't see it that way." Aria let out.
"If Sara really was brainwashed, she'd have a pretty strong motive to kill Charlotte. Revenge." Spencer said. I agree with her. I just know the police are going to try and pin this one on us just like old times. It never fails.
