I STARED AT MY PHONE FOR A WHILE BEFORE I COULD EVEN REGISTER THAT TEXT.
"I know what you did", I didn't do anything...for once.
Does this mean....
No, I can't think about that.
It's safe to say, I didn't sleep a wink that night. Jason was gone and I was alone in the room.
I automatically texted the other girls and they got it too. We sat in a lounge at The Radley and waited for Spencer.
As soon as she showed up, she set her phone down on the table and let out, "Who the hell sent that?"
"Someone who has our new number." Emily responded.
"Like Ali? We all know I am at the top of her suspect list." Aria suggested. I don't think Ali would taunt us like this, though.
"Maybe that's why Sara's hanging around. She might not be able to cut around me, but she can still type a text." Emily muttered.
"So, I'm guessing everything she told the judge about Charlotte was a lie." Hanna said, frustratedly.
"Maybe she came back to mourn the death of her mentor, not her tormentor." I spoke. If I find out Sara sent this text, the last thing she'll be worried about is picking up a fork.
"So, we're definitely saying that Sara's the stalker?" Aria asked. I'm not sure who it is. I think Sara has the biggest ax to grind so I wouldn't be surprised if it is her.
"I'm telling you guys, that bitch wasn't stockholmed." Emily exclaimed.
"Well, the only thing we know for sure is that she spent two years helping Charlotte torture us. That's plenty of time to perfect the art of cyber-stalking." Spencer replied.
"Or it could just be some techie at the phone company with too much time on his hands." Hanna spoke. You see, I would agree but with our history, I highly doubt that. "God, I miss New York." She muttered.
"You and me both." I let out with a sigh.
Hanna then picked up her phone and started typing.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Emily jumped.
"I lied to Lorenzo yesterday and he knows it. I don't have any time to play games." She replied. She then started typing away on her phone.
"Like the techie's gonna respond." Aria deadpanned. Please, I would've tried that years ago.
Hanna send "Do I know you?" Back to the number. The typing bubbles showed up right away.
"Okay, the techie's typing." I let out.
Hanna's phone beeped and she looked up at us. "Yes."
We all shared an uneasy look before trying to figure out our options from here. Emily called Alison. She was with Dr. Rollins at his family's farm. They are on a dairy tour right now.
