"Do you mind if I sit closer?" "No not at all." He said. I sat down next to the chair beside him. "Where do you live? You live near?" I asked. "Yeah just about 3 blocks away." "No shit, I do too." I said. "That's cool."
"I feel like I've seen you somewhere, you look quite familiar." I said. "Wait, are you friends with that boy, uhh what's his name... Oh, Dallas? Dallas Winston right?" I said snapping my fingers. "Yup." "Yeah I think I've seen you hang out with him at the Nightly Double. I go there a lot."
"Really? I don't really recognize you..." He said. "The hair." I said. "What? What's with your hair?" "It changes a lot, the style. I always get a haircut like every 2 months. Style it different each week." I said. "Nice." He said, he looked really shy.
"I'm Y/n." I said, pulling my hand out. "I'm Ponyboy, I know it's a silly name." He said. "What? Noo, it's very original. I like it." He then shook my hand.
"Hey it's last period. You wanna hang out afterschool? Maybe just talk about random shit?" I asked. "That'll be lovely." He smiles.
