"Is he at home?" I ask. "Mhm, you can go there right now." He said. "Doesn't he have work to do?" "Why don't you find out yourself?" He smirks. "Well I can, but I gotta watch Sam."

"We can do that, he's good company anyway. Just go there, or you'll regret it." "You sure? He makes a lot of trouble." "The reason he makes trouble is us anyway. Just go!" He said. "Okay! I'll go, Jesus! Sam, Steve and Soda will take care of you until I get back, okay?" I said.

"Okay! Yay I get to play with you guys!" Sam cheers. I laugh and head to the Curtis'.

I got more nervous as I get closer to the house. When I got there, I stand in front of the door. I knock slowly. I heard footsteps coming closer and the door handle turned.

I saw Darry, he hugged me almost instantly. I hugged back.

"Hey you." I said as we let go. "Why are you in nice clothes?" I asked. "Well I have a surprise for you, here's the first one." He said. He handed me a small box.

I look up at him, "What's this?" I asked. "Open it." I open it and see two tickets to my favorite movie. I gasp as I look at him.

"Seriously?" I said. He nodded. I hug him. "Thank you so much!" "Anything for you." I then remembered something.

"Wait, don't you have work?" I said. "Yes but, from what you said yesterday, you were right. I work to hard and I need a day off." He said. "You need a day off. What are you doing surprising me?" I said.

"Well we had a fight yesterday, I felt bad for you. Besides, we've never had some time alone." He said. "Aww, Darry..." I said.

"I love you." I said. "I love you too, come in. Get your second gift." He said.

"There's more gifts? Darry what are you doing?" I said as we both laugh.
