BAB 5

Athira membatu dibirai katil. Matanya bergenang air mata. Selepas habis bermesyuarat dengan Azriel Haikal, wanita itu terus balik ke rumah dan meminta cuti separuh hari.

Laci ditepi katil dibuka lalu dia mengambil diarinya. Dibuka muka surat yang sudah ditanda dengan penanda.

Gambar sonogram bayi itu dilihat.

"Anak mama sakit? I'm sorry.. Hanis.. Hanis bencikan mama ke?"

Air mata yang ditahan mengalir jua membasahi pipi itu. Gambar sonogram itu lah satu satunya gambar yang Athira ada.

Air mata dilap kasar. Terasa sakit pada luka pembedahannya di perut. Setiap kali dia menangis kerana Hanis, parut jahitan itu terasa seperti ditoreh. Pedih.

TOK TOK TOK

"Athira?" Panggil Puan Aisyah

"Ye.. ye ibu?"

"Aira buat apa?"

"Tak.. Aira baru nak mandi."

"Athira dah lunch ke belum?"

"Dah. Athira dah lunch kat luar tadi." Tipu Athira.

"Hmm rehatlah."

Athira menghela nafas. Dia taknak puan Aisyah melihat matanya yang merah akibat menangis. Pasti dia akan korek rahsia Athira.

3 November

Hi.. hi to my baby. I just checked the UPT and when it comes to positive I was really happy. Like hey there's a baby in my tummy. And of course your daddy was super happy. At first I thought that you'll not appear as soon as possible but you did. I have exam next 2 weeks. My final exam. Wish me luck baby. I went to the doctor and I saw you in my belly through sonogram. You're like a strawberry. So cute.. But I don't know why.. it feels like something wrong.. maybe bcuz I will lost the two of you? Baby and your dad.

Perut disentuh mengingat kembali waktu waktu manis itu. Dengan air mata dipipi, Athira menyelak helaian seterusnya.

2 February

Yesterday.. I felt like I wanna eat an icecream. But your dad force me to drink milk. But I want icecream. It's been a long time since the last time I ate icecream. I just want that damn much. Finally I drank the milk and for the whole day I sulked. I need an icecream!

I woke up today and I head downstairs. At first I just want to drink something since I am thirsty. Guess what!! I opened the fridge and saw an icecream there. I ran to upstairs, looking for your dad.

I asked him about the icecream. At first he forbade me but.. he suddenly said "I don't like that flavour." And I asked him if I can eat that. Finally!! He allowed me to eat icecream! I ran to downstairs again and ate that icecream as a breakfast. That was super delicious.

This is the main thing!! While I ate icecream, you kicked me. Isn't you? That was memorable. I ate icecream and you kicked my belly for the first time. Your dad's mood is really good that day. He allowed me to do anything I want.

Terukir senyum dibibir Athira. Dia mengingat kembali hari itu. Hari yang paling gembira buatnya.

15 February

Today I just woke up from nightmare. And Hanis Ardelle, your dad persuaded me. He dodged me until I fell asleep again. You kicked my belly when your dad kissed my forehead. Jealous huh? Your dad is mine now. That was my first time be dodged by a guy that is not my father. Btw continue kicking my belly just to make sure you're okay in there.

Mulut ditekup. Air mata sekali lagi jatuh. Dia tak mampu menahan sebak di dada. Air mata dikesat berkali kali namun lebih deras ia keluar.

Athira membelek helaian seterusnya.

25 February

I went to Azriel's office. Know what I saw? Azriel and his girlfriend bribe each other in the office. And.. I just looking at them by the door's glass. I don't know why but it's hurt here, in my heart. Wake up Athira Sofia! You're nobody to him. He saw you as a woman that pregnant his baby. Hanis Ardelle, my baby.. you hear me crying? I'm not that strong to through this thing. Thank you for being in my belly Hanis and make me stronger than I think I am.

Athira masih ingat dengan jelas ketika dia pergi ke pejabat Azriel untuk menghantar makanan namun pasangan kekasih itu sedang bermadu kasih di dalam pejabat Azriel Haikal.

Nak terjah masuk dan tampar perempuan tu? Silap silap dia yang kena tampar dengan Azriel.

Dengan kekuatan yang ada di membelek helaian seterusnya. Air mata yang mengalir deras membasahi pipi dikesat kasar.

15 March

Your dad mad at me. Why? I fell at the bathroom. It's not my fault! The floor is just too slippery. That's why. I'm bleeding and your dad took me to the hospital. I'm okay! I get treated. Your dad bought on me, he said "can you be more careful? You just need to lie down on the bed and tell me the thing you need. Okay fine, you wanna take a bath? Then I can bathe you." Let me just die.

When I woke up at night, I thought your dad back home but he's here. With me. He slept at the sofa and I looked at him. Why your dad is damn cute?! Is he trying to make me fall in love huh? I already fall in love.

Athira mengukir senyum sambil air matanya menitis keluar dari tubir mata. Rindu. Dia rindukan saat saat Azriel mengambil berat tentangnya. Saat mereka bergurau senda. Semua kenangan manis mahupun pahit.

"Hanis.. kalau mama datang dekat Hanis, Hanis kenal mama tak? Mustahil."

Athira meraup wajahnya. Rambut dileraikan dan diikat kembali. Dia bangun dan menuju ke bilik air yang berada disudut bilik selepas meletakkan diary itu kembali ke dalam laci putih di tepi katil.
