Fields of Gold; Daniel Ricciardo

Smells fishy.

After we've cuddled for a while we grab everything and just wrap ourselves up in the towels to head back to the apartment.
Back home we take a quick shower before we pack our suitcases for coming week. When I check the outfits I brought with me I decide I might have to ask Charlotte or maybe Kelly to go shopping with me in Italy, because I'm a bit worried I didn't bring enough.
They both have great taste in clothes, so I'm sure they can help me out.

Daniel has an online meeting with some team members to discuss the schedule for his media appearances, drivers meetings and so on.
I decide to call my parents out on the balcony, so I don't disturb the meeting.

"Hi mom how are you doing?"

"Hello darling, we are fine. It's good to hear your voice. We watched you and Daniel on the Instagram. You look good together. Is he treating you well?"

"He is, he's amazing. I'm sure you guys would love him."

"We are happy when you are sweetheart. You've been through enough. How are you healing by the way?"

"Really good actually. I only feel it when I make sudden movements, but I doesn't bother me as much anymore."

"That's good to hear. So when are you coming home?"

"I'm not sure, we're going to Italy tomorrow and after that we have to see, we haven't been able to really talk about that yet."

"Ok well as long as you keep in touch every now and then so we know you are alright. I have to go now, your dad and I are having dinner with your brother."

"Ok tell him I said hi. Love you guys."

I think they were somewhere public, because normally she would never be so sweet and kind talking to me.
When we hang up I get back inside to find Daniel still in the meeting so I text Bri and Jenna to let them know I'm still doing well and just to talk to them a bit.
My mind wonders off to the upcoming days. I'm excited to be at the track this weekend, but also pretty nervous, I don't really know what to expect. I just know Daniel will be super busy, which is fine, I know I'm going to meet up with Kelly and probably Charlotte. Hopefully I can meet some of the other girls as well, they will be able to tell me how it is, dating an F1 driver especially during the season.

All I really hope is that I won't be in the way or distract anybody. I'll just try to make myself as invisible as possible. My stomach starts to rumble a bit, but Daniel is still in the meeting. I could surprise him by ordering food, but I don't know what is good around here.
Lando should know something, so I text him.
'Hey little brother, if I want to order some good food which is also good for raceweek, where should I order?'

He's quick to reply.
'You should try the seafood place around the corner. I don't like fish, but Daniel does.'

'Ok thanks I'll see what they have. See you tomorrow'

I find the restaurant online and I see they also deliver food, so I decide to check the menu to see what they have that sounds good.
Hmm well it all looks pretty good, but what should I choose?
Eventually I just choose a few things and it should be here in about 30 minutes.
While I wait I decide to watch some silly TikTok's, although I do see myself and Daniel a couple of times.
Instagram is still blowing up, I've got so many DM's and new followers, even though I'm not very active posting there.
Maybe for shifting through the DM's it would be a good idea to have the social media department take care of that for now. Until the dust settles and we are old news again.

I decide to post some of the photo's I made when I was at the beach and also the selfie I made with Daniel in the bar. While I'm scrolling through the pictures I come across the picture Charlotte has made on the beach. I would love to post that, because it's such a nice picture, but I'll ask them first if that's ok.
