Chapter 13: He is Going to Firehouse 51(Flashback)

POV: Christopher Herrmann

It has been a year since Kelly got back from the last Mission that gave him some brothers and where he found out he can be around dogs again. Then the 18 weeks of the Fire Academy, where he made a new friend and saw Leslie Shay and Andy Darden again.

Mouch, Kelly, Andy, one other and I are walking up to Firehouse 51.

Kelly, ready for your first day at 51? I asked

Yep, I got my two best friends Shay, Matt and Andy with me. Also dont worry they know the full story. Also Papa Chris and Uncle Mouch I told them, but I dont want any others to know unless I tell you or I tell them. Oh and dont call me Severide-Herrmann, just Severide. said Kelly

You got it My Little Squad Guy, when we are talking about you we will just use Sevy. said Mouch, as Kelly rolled his eyes at Mouch, because he never calls him Sevy.

Dont tell them all the stories. Also Act like we dont know each other, because he comes the Chief. See you guys on shift once we meet everyone.-signed Kelly

You got it My Little Squad Guy.-signed Mouch as we left the three boys.

After a bit it is roll call time and I see Kelly signed to Andy and Matt, I guys he did teach them Sign Language. Chief Boden comes in and he tells us we have three new people.

Guys we have four new people, Matthew Casey, Kelly Severide and Andy Darden, they will be on Truck 81 and Leslie Shay will be on Ambo 61. said Boden, After he was done we got a call.

Once we got to the scene, I saw the fire and got worried about Kelly. I see him playing with the bracelet that Danny Reagan gave him on their first tour together.

You okay Severide. said Mouch

Yes, my phone scared me, I thought I left it at the Firehouse. said Kelly, Andy Casey, Mouch, and I know that it is a lie, but there are others that arent Andy, Casey, Mouch and me on the truck, but we cant say that otherwise the others will find out the truth.

POV: Kelly Benjamin-Christopher Severide-Herrmann

After Chief Boden, intused Matt, Andy and me to the team we got a call to a fire. Once I saw how big the fire was I got scared and started to play with the bracelet that Danny Reagan gave him on our first tour together. Then Danny Reagan said something in my mind.

Dont worry Squad, you got this.-said Danny in my mind

Merda, tu stronzo mi hai spaventato.(Shit, you Asshole you scared me.) I said out loud, thinking I said it in my mind, because I heard Danny laugh, but Uncle Mouch asked if I was okay. So then say that I thought I left my phone at the Firehouse. Uncle Mouch, Matt, Andy and Papa Mouch knew it was a lie but didnt say anything so the others didn't find out.

Dont die, dont want to call Captain and tell him that Squad got hurt.-said Danny in my mind

Says the new cop.-I said in my mind

Truck 81, get out. yelled Chief Boden

Herrmann is pinned down. said one of the other Firefighters on 81.

Im going to help Mouch. I said

Severide, get out now. said Matt

I have to help him. Im close to Mouch and Herrmann now. I yelled

I gave you an order and will listen to it, Severide. yelled Chief Boden

I dont, I go and help Uncle Mouch, get my Papa Chris out.

Papa Chris, I got you. Uncle Mouch, go on the other side and help left it.-I signed

Yes, Casey you help me and Andy help out Kelly.-signed Uncle Mouch

After a bit we got Papa Chris unstuck and he hit the back of my head.

Not letting my Papa Chris die in a fire. Not after what happened with Dad.-I signed

Next time Sevy, dont come back for me. You have to Cindy and your siblings.-signed Papa Chris, leaning on Uncle Mouch and Matt as we got him out.

Yes next time I will just let you die and tell Mamma Cindy that my Papa, her Husband and the Father to my Younger Siblings that Papa was stupid and wouldnt let me save him. Mamma Cindy will be pissed at you and Uncle Mouch.-I signed

Hey Herrmann, get checked out. I yelled to him and he rolled his eyes at me.

Severide, you okay you are swaying? asked Andy and then I passed out.

POV: Matt Casey

After Herrmann got to the Paramedics, Andy said Kelly was swaying. I caught him before he passed out. That is when Andy pointed out that Kellys air tank had a hole in it.

We need Paramedics over here. Severides air tank has a hole in it. I yelled

What happened? asked Shay, she is one of the only other people who knows the full truth.

He yelled at Herrmann to get checked out. Then Darden said he was swaying and I caught him. Shay, tell me it isnt bad. He has to be okay.-I signed

He is okay, but he needs his Inhale. Does he have it on him.-signed Shay

I looked, he doesnt.-signed Andy

We need Oxygen over here. yelled Shay

It is the next best thing, dont tell Mouch or Herrmann, they are on the way to the hospital.-signed Shay as Gabby brought some Oxygen over.

Here you go, by the way two guys were asking about Severide. They wanted to know if he is okay, they wont go to the hospital until they know. said Gabby

Hey Mouch and Herrmann, Severide is okay, his air tank had a hole in it. said Shay

Once she said that Kelly woke back up breathing in the Oxygen.

Hey Severide, are you okay? asked Chief Boden

Yes, sorry Sir. I didnt know I got a hole in my air tank. said Kelly

Just glad you are okay. said Chief Boden
