Chapter 14: Getting on Squad 3(Flashback)

POV: Andy Darden

Matt Casey is Truck 81s new Lieutenant and Kelly Severide(Herrmann) is Squad 3s new Lieutenant. Leslie Shay and I are still just a Firefighter and Paramedic. Gabby keeps flirting with Matt, but he doesnt see it. Kelly, Shay and I do, we can see that Kelly hates it because he likes Matt. Herrmann is too overprotective of Kelly and wont let them date, Kelly gets that, but he has been working on getting Herrmann to let him date Matt.

Hey Andy, Gabby is doing it again. said Shay

Where is Kelly? I asked

Talking with his Mamma, his Papa told her about having gotten a Migraine. You know how they are, I had to give Severide Medicine and his Mamma was making sure I didnt give him something that would kill him. Her words, not mine. said Shay

You guys know Casey really well right? asked Gabby

Yes, why? I asked

Is he dating someone? asked Gabby

I dont know who is worse, Papa, Mamma or my Godfather. said Kelly, as he put his head on my shoulder and I just moved my fingers through his hair.

That bad? asked Matt

Yes, Papa told Mamma Cindy about my Migraine after Uncle Mouch told Papa Chris. I told Uncle Mouch Im going to lay down and he then said Migraine. I said yes and he told Papa Chris. I just got off the phone with Mamma Cindy, before that Uncle Mouch and Papa Chris gave me some water and a wet washcloth for my head.-signed Kelly

Oh poor Baby, want me to kiss it to make it better. said Shay

Lieutenant, are you okay? asked Capp

He has a headache and told his Papa, Mamma and Godfather. They are so overprotective of Severide here. said Matt, as he moved his hand through Kellys hair and the two of us kind of fought each other, by moving our hands through Kellys hair.

Will you two stop messing with my hair? You are making it worse. asked/said Kelly and Shay opened her arms, for Kelly and we went into them and she just hugged him.

Okay well have to pee. said Matt and he walked off

So can you answer my question? asked Gabby

Hey Severide, how is your Head? asked Mouch

Fine, thanks to Shay. said Kelly as he kissed her check and went to his seat at the Squad table. Shay, Capp, Gabby and I walk over to him and keep talking.

By the way, he isn't, but he does have a crush. Casey is just too scared to act on that said crush. Even through they have fucked a couple of times. said Kelly with a serious face as Herrmann comes over and tris to find out we are talking about.

May we help you, Herrmann? I asked

POV: Leslie Shay

Just check on you guys and want to know if the Squad Captain headache went away. said Herrmann, Andy, Kelly and I knew that he was mostly asking about Kelly.

Im fine, hey Otis what are you doing with that? asked Kelly

Im going to prank Mouch. said Otis and Kelly got out his phone

Me and Andy look over Kellys shoulders to see what he is texting Mouch on a chat with the others in Herrmann Family, Jennings Family, his Military Team and the Reagan chat.

Godson of the Couch(Me): Otis is going to prank you.

Godfather of the Squad: Thanks for the warning My Little Squad Guy.

Godson of the Couch: No problem, just next time I tell you about my Migraine dont tell Papa Chris or Mamma Cindy. They are way too overprotective.

Godfather of the Squad: Got it Little Squad Guy.

Godson of the Couch: I love you Uncle Mouch.

Godfather of the Squad: I love you too Kelly.

Since Lance found out what his nickname means and since Lance calls me Squad. Also when I left my phone unlocked he changed it to that. said Kelly

I dont know, Matty they do but you're scared of their overprotective Papa, Mamma and Godfather. Even of their friends, like the four that live in Chicago and the one that lives in New York. It is so funny how the one that is so far away is the one that scares you just as bad as their Papa, Mamma and Godfather. said Kelly as he led back and looked at Matt, who was still moving his fingers in his Crushs hair. Kelly looked over to Herrmann and rolled his eyes.
