POV: Kelly Benjamin-Christopher Severide-Herrmann
We get a call to House fire, 788 Maple Street. They called all of Firehouse 51, we went to the fire and we talked over the commons on the way there.
Guys, how do I look? asked Andy
As usual. said Uncle Mouch
Like the class clown. said Papa Chris and Andy chuckles.
Yo, Severide, how soon till you can take Darden off my hands? asked Matt
Andy makes squad the day after I'm no longer in charge. I said as we all laughed.
I'll raise the aerial. said Cruz
He could be on the stairs, in the hallway, anywhere. said the Lady
We'll go in back, work our way up. said Matt
Case of beer we get to him first. I said
Just vent the back. Was Severide always such a cocky prick? said/asked Matt
Only since Kindergarten. said Andy, I could tell that kind of hurt Papa Chris feelings. I just hope he doesnt go off on my friends like he did when April Sexton, when he found out she made me cry after talking about my Dad and leaving me at school.
We talked more before I yelled that we dont have a vent.
Casey, there is no vent. I yelled
Darden! yelled Matt, and I hit my shoulder on the ground hard.
Once we get out I see Matt crying and I think the worst.
Casey, please dont tell me he died. I cried and I felt a hand on me. I just shock it off.
They are taking him to the Hospital. Severide just breathe, Darden is still alive. said Matt
I yelled at my crush and he yelled at me too. I just want my best friend since Kindergarten to be okay. He was the first person not in my family I trusted. He cant die on me, I already lost enough people in my life. I got so mad that I punched Matt Casey, my fucking crush.
One month later
POV: Matt Casey
It has been one month since Andy has been in a coma and Severide has been mad at me. I'm mad at him too, Herrmann and Mouch are mad at me because I yelled at their Adopted son and Godson. They dont show it like Severide does, which is a good thing I guess.
We got our new candidate on 81, Peter Mills. He is talking about Squad with our tour that Otis was doing but now he is. I hate that Severide is mad at me, because he is my crush. I know that Severide, Andy and Shay know and knew about it. Im sure Herrmann and Mouch know too.
Once we got back from a call I made my Corned Beef and Kelly didn't get any and walked off. I know that Herrmann is mad that I didnt leave him any. The thing is I did, but I didnt tell him or Severide that. I walk back to my office and I see Severide and Shay talking.
Severide, you need to tell him. said Shay
No, you know how he gets when it comes to me. I know he is really mad at Casey for the Corned Beef thing. I want to know more before I tell him. I have an appointment after work. Please Leslie, dont tell him let me. I just need some medicine. said Severide
Severide, is everything okay? I asked
Kelly, here hurt his shoulder during the call where Andy ended up in a coma. said Shay
Severide, you have to tell Boden. I said
I know and I will once I find out how mad it is. said Severide
