AN: this is an ugly one😟

Stefani's pov

"Stefani you have such a vision," Lana was complimenting me as she showed us the way out.

"With flare, if need be," I kept it modest.

"Drop the alpha male act, this is how you pictured your wedding with Lillian," Eleanora made me smile.

"Come on, we've never talked about how we would plan our wedding and here you are just spilling with ideas," Lillian gave me that knowing smile.

"Don't do that, it was inspired by another wedding," I shrugged and everyone fell silent.

"Liar," Carter blurted out and Eleanora elbowed her.

"I'm serious, the whole thing about the darkest parts of two souls intertwining and becoming one to match the dark sultry of red flowers with a purple and soft ivory white complexion? Oh come on as if this wedding doesn't scream passion, desires, and a new beginning with those three colors. Own up to it Damnit, you're a hopeless romantic," Carter was having a fit.

I looked at Stefani with my lips parted because I knew she was sentimental and she puts a lot of thought into details but this... this was an entirely different level of thought.

"Besides... you can't be so shallow minded to have the nerve to say you got the idea wedding idea from someone else when those color combinations literally bring out the blue in Lillian's eyes and your green eyes, damn you," Carter made me smirk.

"Eleanora, get your wife. She's literally fucking up my vows right now," I rolled her eyes.

"It's best if you own up to it. What's on the agenda for the remainder of the day Ms. Edwards," Lana jumped in.

"Oh- let's see," me and Lillian said in sync as we both reach to grab our phones at the same exact time.

Eleanora and Carter were smiling as Lana had an approving look on her face.

There was a loud silence in the room as me and Lillian were locking eyes with one another. I couldn't help but smirk at the woman as her overall composure has been obliterated and she has nothing else to do but blush..

"Anything in mind?" I took the spotlight to me.

"I mean- uh- the work.. um... thing," as if Lillian's cheeks couldn't get any more red.

"Hopefully it doesn't take too long.. maybe we can go for a nice lunch," I suggested.

"We- we can't be seen together in public. You have to look like you don't like me and well- you love me-

I took the abrupt initiative to snatch her by the waist pulling her in closer so I look down her as I say what I'm about to say..

"Let this be clear: in love, I am in love with you," her eyes were trembling to me.

I can't tell if she's making an effort to stand up but I practically feel like I'm holding her up.

"You best get to it, I'm not sure what the probability will be when you get down to the office," Lana warned.

"Mary is going to jail, final," I quickly changed my tone

"About time," Carter was- why is she relieved.

"You had problems w-

"Woman nearly screwed up an expedition a couple years ago giving out performance notations about my strengths and weaknesses," she fluffed the situation.

I look at Lillian and she herself looks like there was more at stake with what she was leading on. I'm no musician but to give out weaknesses on a strong opponent is unforgivable.
