Part 3

When the day ended, Kiyotaka left the school with Kei and headed towards one of the upper floors. Walking through the corridors, Kiyotaka came across several unrecognisable and unused rooms.

These rooms were not used as classrooms for students, rather they were rooms where various after school clubs that were not sports related were held. Whether it was tea ceremony or calligraphy, this floor and section of the school was the location of these clubs. In the corridor itself, there were a couple of students who, for reasons unknown, walked to their club rooms to still take part in their clubs.

[Perhaps they are confident they'll pass their midterms even without spending some extra time studying... Or perhaps they are just idiots. Maybe the latter.] Kiyotaka thought as they walked through the corridors, in search of a specific room on that floor.

He paid no mind to that as he and the arm clinging Kei finally arrived at the certain room that they were looking for.

Kiyotaka knocked on the closed door of the room he stood in front of. The label to the side of the door on the wall read "music room".

After a couple of seconds, the door opened and revealed a brunette haired woman who appeared to be in her mid-thirties. Her outfit was similar to what Chabashira wore during school hours, however the colour was akin to a lighter grey compared to black, and her figure was complimented with reading glasses that amplified the typical cute sensei stereotype otakus seemed to enjoy so much.

"Oh, Ayanokouji-kun and Karuizawa-chan. Are you here to practise again?" The teacher, who Kiyotaka later began to know as Hiromu Akane, asked the musical couple.

"Yes, Sensei. Is the room okay to use for about an hour? It's just me and Kei at the moment, but if we're okay to practise here, then the others can make their way here too."

Hiromu giggled a bit before adjusting her glasses. "Of course. I did say you can use this room anytime you want. Today is actually a pretty good day too since a couple club activities are being paused for the midterms. The music club happens to be one of them. Anyway, come in come in. Get yourselves ready while you gather the others."

"I see. Thank you."

"Please excuse us." Kei politely professed after texting the others.

The music room itself was cluttered with instruments. It remained almost the exact same as when Kiyotaka had borrowed this room to play for Kei privately. Coincidentally, Hiromu also appeared to be working on some papers at the nearby desk just like the day the two students met this teacher on the same day.

"Are you two planning to project your band for the upcoming cultural festival? There wouldn't be any other reason for you two and the rest of KiyoKei Band to come here around this time unless you have other concerts you're planning." Hiromu asked after closing the door and making sure no one else was nearby to hear her.
