The time was now 1pm. Only three hours were left until the cultural festival finished, which meant the pinnacle points were approaching. However, around this time, breaks were also being handled.
Of course, break times for quite a few of the Class B students had already begun at 11am and 12pm respectively, but the break times happening now were for the vocalists of the band. After being given the order from Kiyotaka, the girl vocalist group—consisting of Kei, Satou, Matsushita and Mori—took their breaks all at the same time.
"Let's go explore the campus and the other stands on offer!" Mori exclaimed as the group exited the great hall with their umbrellas.
The heavy rainfall hadn't begun yet, but there was a little bit of drizzle set to come while the girls were out on break. It wouldn't be a problem to them, but getting rain droplets on their maid uniforms—which they were still in—when they still needed to look presentable after break. When warned about this, the girls decided it was best to bring their umbrellas with them.
"But we won't be able to participate in any of them," Satou commented as she, Matsushita and Kei followed after Mori.
"Who cares!? Let's just go explore! Kei-chan can show us around too since she and Ayanokouji-kun went around on Wednesday!"
It appeared Mori was not going to let the chance go down. Seeing that, Satou and Matsushita turned to Kei who appeared to be the middle woman in the decision to be made. Seeing all eyes on her, Kei couldn't help but laugh a little. She decided it would probably be best just to humour Mori.
"Let's go explore, at least for a bit and then we should head to the cafeteria for lunch," Kei announced.
"Yay!"
The group explored the many different stands available at the cultural festival, both on campus and in the special building. As Kei had remembered from her date with Kiyotaka during the trial day, the many tents set by other classes were games, food stalls and even stalls displaying art tapestries and other products.
For the games, there were the usual stools such as the target shooting game Kiyotaka had tried to win a prize in. Kei almost found herself giggling remembering the disappointment on his face when he didn't win anything. But there were either games on display here, such as the ring toss, ball throw, goldfish fishing, there was even a dump the clown in the pool game that was being hosted by Class 3D. Kei had to wonder if Class 3D were aware of the weather forecast today to be hosting such a game.
But those were the game stalls outside, there were also food stalls. Many sold the usual food found at festivals like this—those being yakitori, yakisoba, karage and others. There were to be even more food stalls inside the special building. However, the entrance of the special building was the home to their biggest rival for this cultural festival—Class 2C, Ryuuen's class.
