"Why are you asking me and yourself? You're the one who decided to follow that tyrant of a guy you call our class leader!"
Ibuki Mio walked through the pouring outside under her umbrella as she headed to a certain destination given to her by Ryuuen. However, she wasn't alone as two boys flanked both her sides as companions. One of them, fortunately, was a student with a tall, intimidating and well-built frame. With his bald head, one would be forgiven for thinking this young man was anyone but a student at Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. He was Katsuragi Kohei—a competent student who knew boundaries and was well respected being a former Class A student.
It was safe to say that Ibuki didn't mind Katsuragi's presence. She could at least tolerate him more than having Ryuuen or Ishizaki joining her. However, the fortune Katsuragi brought her was immediately removed. The reason? It was simply because her second companion was someone who was known for complaining when she hated that.
Her second companion was a male and had dark maroon hair and eyes. It was none other than Tokitou Hiroya, also a member of her Class 2-C. Put simply, Tokitou was a member of a faction that opposed Ryuuen's leadership of the class. When looking at Ryuuen's personality and achievement methods over the last year, it was easy to see why he was so opposed. If Ibuki didn't know any better, she would've joined his little faction to recapture the flag Ryuuen was holding in his base.
But it was because Ibuki knew better that she didn't join his little faction. Even with Kaneda being a great tactician and Katsuragi transferring in just a few months ago, Class C was still inferior to any other classes. Horikita Suzune had been growing as a much better leader for Class B, even if Ayanokouji Kiyotaka had taken over leadership for now. And while Ichinose's Class D had dropped to the bottom, if Ryuuen didn't stay as leader then Ichinose was sure to overtake them at some point. They stayed as Class B for the entire first year after all.
Tokitou surely knew that, yet he was still trying to lead the faction. The good thing was he was holding off after Katsuragi rejected helping and after being ousted during the unanimous vote special exam. He especially decided to stand down when Ryuuen announced an investigation into the first years for the incident involving Komiya and Kinoshita.
That said, despite his approach towards overthrowing Ryuuen being watered down in favour of outing the perpetrator for Komiya and Kinoshita's incident, Tokitou's insistence hadn't all but disappeared. So much so that Ibuki blatantly ignored his questioning on her position under Ryuuen's faction.
"Why are we going after this Housen guy? Is Ryuuen stupid?" He asked for the umpteenth time, much to Ibuki's frustration having been partnered with this guy.
"For what Ryuuen is aiming for in this cultural festival, he needs the assistance of Housen Kazuomi," Katsuragi explained, also for the umpteenth time.
"So two tyrants are teaming together? This is the worst."
