Intro

Who was Yagami Takuya?

If you asked him that question, he would respond with "the best the White Room and the world has to offer."

If you asked the instructors of the White Room, they would answer with "the best the 5th generation had to offer."

If you asked Takuya's classmates, they would reply with "the leader for Class 1B and a very caring friend."

Everyone differed in how they answered the question, but that was what pissed Yagami Takuya off. No one, absolutely no one, answered the way Takuya wanted them to answer—that being the way he responded to the question.

Whenever the White Room professors responded to his questions of how well he did in each curriculum, they would always comment on how Ayanokouji Kiyotaka from the 4th generation did better. It was used to try and force the subjects of the 5th generation to improve, but the professors should have known that it was fruitless to use them to encourage the students.

When Takuya improved, Kiyotaka improved even more. It was like an infinite cycle where no matter what he did, he would always be one step behind. And that simply wasn't good enough for Takuya. That's why he made it his personal mission to defeat Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.

However, Takuya wanted to bide his time so he messed around with others in the meantime. Kushida Kikyou, Komiya Kyogo and Kinoshita Minori—all three were victims of Takuya's misdeeds. The former was used as a pawn while the latter two were victims of being injured by him. There were also a few students in Tsubaki Sakurako's class and a few other first years

And then the Sports Festival was where he really tried to best Kiyotaka at something fair. But when Kiyotaka still beat him, it was a huge blow to his pride. After playing with others, he finally decided to play fair and that got him nowhere. Which meant there was only one thing left he could do.

That was to go all or nothing.
