Just as Kiyotaka had predicted, Tuesday the next day, Ryuuen had announced both Class B's and Class C's cultural festival plan—a maid cafe with a band and a concept cafe with a live grime/pop performance. Alongside that, Ryuuen announced a clear indication of competition between their two classes, and the intent to crush both Class B and anyone else who gets in their way.
When Class B found out, they were quite shocked, even a little afraid that Ryuuen really could crush them. But Kiyotaka assured them that they would win the cultural festival, even if their plan was out for everyone to see. The benefit of this was that no one else would copy their idea too.
"Ayanokouji-kun. Do you have some time this afternoon?"
That very same afternoon after school, as Kiyotaka was preparing to pack his belongings, he was approached by the black haired former leader of Class B, Horikita Suzune. Her expression was serious, which meant it was best not to say no.
"I should. But what is this all about?" He asked.
"You said I should tell you the next time I go meet the owners of Akuisha for negotiations so that you could come. Well, that's today."
He remembered he said that during the last meeting with her, Hirata, Mei Yu and Yukimura. The planned budget spend is already quite high and it was decided they needed to cut on some areas to allow for more points when it came to choosing the location. This was, of course, decided before the additional funds were announced. Either way, negotiations to get a lower price from Akuisha were welcome.
"Alright. But there's someone else I would like to bring with us if you don't mind."
Kiyotaka got up from his seat and, unexpectedly to Horikita, approached a boy with straight shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes. As Horikita, and a few others watched, Kiyotaka spoke to the boy.
"Kouenji. I would like you to accompany me and Horikita to Akuisha for the meeting with the bosses."
The boy in question, Kouenji Rokusuke, turned from his mirror admiring to Kiyotaka with a grin. The spectators all thought the confrontation would go the way every other Kouenji confrontation would go—a rejection in the name of Kouenji's own plans. There should have been no other resolution to this.
"My my, Ayanokouji-boy. Using my services here again? I was hoping to go do some training today, but since you've asked, I suppose I better make myself available for you and Horikita-girl."
But to the class's surprise, Kouneji obliged. Sure, he had been cooperative enough during the sports festival, but this was Kouenji everyone was talking about. If Horikita couldn't get through to him without a deal, it was understandable for the rest of the class to think even Kiyotaka couldn't influence Kouenji.
