The falling red and orange leaves were a huge indication that this was the Autumn season. The chillier winds indicated winter was fast approaching and the puffy clouds floating high made people realise the rainy season was all but ready to start.
Kiyotaka and Ichinose stared out the window of this slightly gloomy Friday as they waited for the last few members of the Student Council to arrive. Kei, Haruka, Horikita, Nanase, Takahashi and Shiina were here. The only two that hadn't arrived yet were the two Commissioners of the Disciplinary Committee.
"Shiina-san. Any idea what's keeping Ryuuen-kun?" Ichinose turned to ask Shiina who was in the magenta haired boy's class.
Despite his wild attitude and built reputation for being a tyrant, Ryuuen was never late to meetings. He was never early but he was never late either. The Class C leader opted to always arrive right on the dot whenever he needed to meet people. Therefore, it was slightly surprising not to see him right at this moment.
"Ryuuen-kun had something he needed to attend to quickly, but he said he'll be here as soon as that's done," She answered.
While it was understandable that the Disciplinary Committee Commissioner may have had things to do in the background when Council meetings were happening, not letting the team in advance was a problem.
"Figures Ryuuen-kun wouldn't say anything. Annoyingly, this is always how he's operated. Doing things his own way and having fun," Horikita commented as she brought out a book from one of the cabinets and set it on the desk.
"But what about Sakayanagi-senpai? Isn't she the only one in Class A for your year? What has she said?" Nanase asked as she stood by Kiyotaka's side, Kei on the other side.
Unsurprisingly, none of them knew the answer. Sakayanagi was already quite evasive with what she did, but having no one else from Class 2A in the Student Council meant it was even more problematic. At least that would have been the case if...
"Sakayanagi told me she's attending to something and will arrive shortly too," Kiyotaka answered, bringing out his phone to show the text message he received from the lilac haired girl.
"Those two always seem to do whatever they want..." Kei muttered, pouting at her boyfriend, likely because the lilac haired girl texted him.
"Well we'll just have to wait for them a little longer before we begin today's meeting. That aside, is there something wrong, Horikita-san?"
Ichinose pointed out the confused expression emanating from Horikita as she stared at the book in front of her. She continued to look curiously through the book until nearly a minute of silence later when she turned to Ichinose.
"Ichinose-san. Who was taking notes during the meetings when President Nagumo was running?"
"Eh? Um... I think it was Tonokawa-senpai before the new school year started. After that, it was Yagami-kun. Why do you ask?"
