Part 3

Less than two hours after the Cultural Festival began, the maid café had a steady stream of clients, just as planned. Thanks to the performance of three songs by the KiyoKei band, more and more customers were appearing to grab a meal, experience maid and butler service, and even see the KiyoKei band perform against Ryuuen's live performance.

Finishing their third song, Kei glanced back at Kiyotaka and they conversed with their eyes.

"Should we continue?" Kei's eyes asked.

"No. Take a small break and get your photos taken with customers. There'll be loads who want to take some with you girls for now." Kiyotaka's answered back.

"Got it!"

She then turned back to face the audience. "Thank you everyone. We'll be taking two for a little bit, but our previously played songs have also been recorded, so they'll play in the background. For now, if anyone would like to have their photo taken with us and any other maids, please speak to us, our head butler and photographer over there to arrange it."

The KiyoKei band had more songs to play all day, so playing them all now was not that important. What was important now was to fulfil the desires of certain people who wanted to treasure a sort of memory like this. Photos were a great way to treasure memories, so having them with their favourite maid would be the best way for these adults to remember such an occasion.

Unsurprisingly, as soon as the girls headed towards Hirata and Sotomura, they were immediately bombarded by photography requests. Kei and Satou appeared to have stood out as the main choices for the requests, but Mori and Matsushita seemed to get a few. Even Haruka, who was the guitarist and not one of the vocalists, was getting a few requests

That wasn't to say that there were photo requests during these 2 hours before Kei directed them, but there were very few of them.

"Okay, we have a photo request!" Kiyotaka barely heard Hirata announce earlier to Sotomura while the band was performing.

"Got it! All right, say cheese!" Sotomura immediately hopped on it and took two shots of the customer with Mei-Yu, a shy smile on her face.

However, when Sotomura checked the pictures that came out of the instant camera, Kiyotaka barely read the words that Sotomura muttered from his mouth. "I knew it..." was what Kiyotaka believed the otaku photographer said.

Kiyotaka could probably guess that Mii-chan had her eyes closed in the photos, causing her to look apologetic. Since the photos were meant to be a souvenir, nothing would be wrong if there was something a bit wrong with the customer's facial expression. But it would be a different story if the maid didn't look right. The maids wouldn't be satisfied if the customer was provided with a bad picture. In other words, it was an act of consideration for their guests, and at the same time, it was an act of consideration for the maids.
