Part 6

Instead of returning back to his dorm room straight away, Kiyotaka decided to take a walk around the campus. The calm evening breeze permitted such a comfortable environment that it took all his willpower to decide not to go back home and sleep.

...Not that Kiyotaka planned to go back to sleep anytime soon, especially with how comfortable this evening walk was.

However, while traversing the open campus field, Kiyotaka stopped close towards the front school entrance as a person of interest entered his view. Seeing said person and weighing up the options of whether or not to make contact, Kiyotaka slowly approached him.

He had a jumbled mess of brown hair that resembled much of a mophead. While Kiyotaka thought this was definitely an exaggeration, he couldn't help but think that there was some truth to it. Upon hearing Kiyotaka approach, the boy turned around to reveal his serene green eyes that complimented his near handsome attire.

Yagami Takuya was the name of this handsome boy whose face creased as soon as Kiyotaka entered his vision. It was evident that Takuya was not happy about Kiyotaka's appearance.

"Ayanokouji-senpai, huh? What do you want?"

"Nothing really. I just thought it was a little weird to see you out at this time in the evening, so I thought I'd drop by and see whatever you were up to."

"That so, huh?" Takuya smirked as he continued to stare at the school building. "If I were to ask you to fight me right here right now because I'm unsatisfied with the results from the sports festival, would you?"

"I'd rather not. I'm a little more focused on other things so I won't be able to humour you again for a while. Plus, we'll both be in a huge heap of trouble if we're caught at this time of night. There are cameras watching here after all."

Being a prodigy White Roomer like Kiyotaka, and being someone who both really hated to lose and hated Kiyotaka in general, it wasn't surprising that Takuya wanted to have a rematch to prove who would be the better White Roomer.

But Kiyotaka couldn't humour Takuya anymore. With the threat of Ayatouji Yatei, aka Ayanokouji Atsoumi, still on the horizon, Kiyotaka needed to put as much focus into protecting his school life than humouring annoying prodding mosquitos.

"Haha. I thought you would say something like that." Takuya laughed, unsurprised by Kiyotaka's response. "You know, for someone who is known to be the best in that institution, it is quite a shock to find that you really hate confrontations. If everyone else in our generation saw you like this, they'd think you're just too overconfident in your abilities that you just don't want to fight people that aren't on your level. But the reality is you just don't want anything to do with you since you were forced into this position. I find that quite funny."
