"Fufufu. Well this is an interesting council you've built up, Ayanokouji-kun. Ichinose-san."
When Friday came, the members handpicked by the Co-Presidents were asked to meet in the Student Council room after school. This was to allow them to understand what for and why they were picked, as well as meet their colleagues.
But, as Sakayanagi had put it, the choices for the council had been interesting put lightly and utterly bizarre put bluntly.
There were the obvious choices such as Horikita Suzune and Nanase Tsubasa here, and even Shiina Hiyori could have been considered an obvious good choice. But then there were not the best choices such as Hasebe Haruka and Karuizawa Kei, who weren't bad but not ones you would choose for a Student Council. And then there were the very bizarre choices of Ryuuen Kakeru and Sakayanagi Arisu who were generally smart but ruthless too.
Each member gave their soon-to-be colleagues a glance. Some glared while others grinned at each other. All in all, this looked to be a unique Student Council.
"Is that so? We just picked people we believe to be the best choices. All of you standing here were the best choices me and Ichinose discussed," Kiyotaka answered, acting as if he did not understand the problem or the point Sakayanagi was making.
"Does everyone want to introduce themselves and their position?" Ichinose asked with a smile.
Everyone in this room, except for the First Year representative, were familiar to each other. However, probably for the first year's sake, and for keeping up manners in the Student Council, introducing themselves and their positions was likely for the best. Finding all of this amusing, the first member stepped up.
"I'll start. Ryuuen Kakeru of Class 2C. I'll be the Disciplinary Committee Commissioner, handpicked by Ayanokouji. If any students in this school cause issues, then I'll cause issues for them with my team." Ryuuen ended his introduction with a sinister smirk.
"Fufu. If we're starting off with Ryuuen-kun, then I suppose I will go next. Sakayanagi Arisu of Class 2A. I will also be in the Disciplinary Committee as its Deputy Commissioner. As much as I loathe the idea of being underneath Ryuuen-kun, being able to control student behaviour outweighs that opinion. And since Ayanokouji-kun asked me personally, I am more happy to take the sacrifice of my pride."
Ryuuen and Sakayanagi leading the Disciplinary Committee meant the committee would be ruthless. The Disciplinary Committee would handle policing of the school campus and most disorders and trialling the Student Council would usually handle. Giving that full control to Ryuuen and Sakayanagi, who had reputations for being ruthless, was sure to make people think twice. Even the other members in this room shuddered at the thought.
"Thank you, Ryuuen-kun and Sakayanagi-san. I think Ayanokouji-kun has already told you two, but you have full control over the Disciplinary Committee, who you want to hire and how to run it. We will not get involved, but I ask you to let me add Kanzaki-kun to your ranks."
