After finishing a bit of paperwork, Kiyotaka and Ichinose left the Student Council office and made their way to the final destination of today's Student Council work. Luckily, as they were already on the third floor, they didn't need to climb any stairs nor trek the hallways that much.
Their destination was the Principal's Office and, subsequently, the Chairman's Office. But they arrived at the former first, knocking on the door until a soft "please enter" was heard from behind it.
"Pardon the intrusion." The pair said as they entered, closed the door behind them and gave a small bow to the chubby principal in front of them. The Principal beckoned them with a smile to take a seat, though Kiyotaka and Ichinose politely rejected sitting down.
"Ayanokouji-kun and Ichinose-chan. What brings you here this afternoon?" The Principal asked the pair.
"Sorry to bother you Principal. But we've made our decision on the members in the council and their positions. We were told to hand them to you and the Chairman once we decided on our members so that you could review," Ichinose answered as she brought out a bundle of documents from her bag and placed them on the Principal's desk.
Usually, the school would not get involved with the Student Council. Anyone who was chosen for the Student Council would need to be known to the school, but the school did not review them as the decision was on the President and Vice President and no one else.
However, due to the whole Nagumo and Tsukishiro fiasco, Chairman Sakayanagi and the Principal took the tough decision to involve themselves in the picking of the Student Council members. Of course, Kiyotaka and Ichinose still had the freedom to choose who they wanted, but the school would review them in case they believed someone was not worthy of joining.
The Principal picked up the documents and reviewed them all. The very top document was all he needed to read for the time being as it contained the list of positions and the members filling them. As he read through, his eyebrows raised and he turned to face both Kiyotaka and Ichinose.
"You have definitely picked quite a good council. And the inclusion of the Disciplinary Committee will definitely be a huge helping factor in rebuilding student trust and safety. There is just one concern I have with this list though."
Holding up the list, he pointed to the Disciplinary Committee Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, the two positions the Co-Presidents expected to be called out.
"Sakayagangi-chan as one of the Commissioners is definitely a decent choice. My concern is having Ryuuen-kun at the top. From what we've known about Ryuuen-kun, there was an incident last year on the rooftop which involved him and you, Ayanokouji-kun. You may have paid the points to replace the camera and we let go of the incident, but that doesn't mean the top brass were not aware of both your actions. We're just a little concerned about having him as the top Commissioner."
