Left 4 Dead 2 x Reader Scenarios

If you two were together before breakout but different places when it broke out

Coach:

He's ready to fist fight his way through these crazies! He WILL get to you, even if that means enduring strenuous hours of fighting these fucked up people!

Didn't take long it's not simply crazies but ZOMBIES. That made him less 'think with fists' and start to calm down as he can't risk getting bit and meeting you, only to turn into one of them and bite you. On his map he scratched out all areas he has checked and knows for sure you wouldn't be. Then circled areas you could be if you were at the location you last reported to him. His goal was to go to those areas, nothing else. People can follow him if they want, but his goal is to get you.

All supplies get taken along; blanket, snacks, water, etc, as he wants to be sure that you'll be safe and okay once you two reunite. Which WILL happen.

Rochelle:

Normally she can think rational but when those "people" ran to her, she froze up. Somehow her first thought was; "where are you right now?! Are you in that crowd?!" If it wasn't for these other people pulling her along as they made a run for it she might have been a goner.

She gathered every gun on the way, determined to find you. She was stuck between the choice of whether she should stick with the group to the safe place or venture out to go find you. She decided numbers is better than alone as it's not as if she's a trained fighter, but each area she searched around as well to make sure she does not miss you. Only a fool would shout out for their partner. And damn is she a fool in love so at times, if she felt no zombie near, she would do so. Not too many times, just enough to tell herself: "At least I tried". And she shall keep trying until she finds you.

Ellis:

Oh his mind went blank when the zombies came, he got tunnel vision on his first priority: finding you. The three survivors he met during it he kept joking with so when one day Rochelle asked him what he's always looking for he shared about you. No one expected this as he never shared it prior. He could feel they were starting to pity him so he began sharing stories about you and him, most silly stories.

One side he hoped they might take pity so far they'll abandon the task to get out of here and instead find you, but it failed and he knows that wouldn't be right. But still! Rochelle managed to talk him into staying with them and not running off like a fool, that you might be at the safe spot already and waiting on him.

Every second was him begging, praying, mumbling that you better be safe and alive out there, that you two can be reunited very soon.

Nick:

He was seen as stubborn and relucant to work with these three weirdos he got stuck with. In reality: yes. He does not like them. But also because he has somewhere else to be, he doesn't want to follow these idiots because he has to find you, his partner in crime. You can both tackle anything, but he needs you first to manage that.

Eventually he did seperate from them when he suspected you to be near; just gave them a casual "stay safe, see you around if you make it". He did end up liking these idiots, but he likes you more so he'll risk journeying alone for what will hopefully be a small bit until he finds you.
