She got an idea when she found glue. You both waited until the zombies moved away from the path you had just ran then sneaked back, going until finally the glasses were found.
Once found she pulled her hairtie out, cut it in two, then two the ends to the glasses before putting on your head. "Might not be the most fashionable or comfortable, but we can't be choosers right now."
Ellis:

In the end as you were struggling to read a sign suddenly something went on nose and saw it in view. It are your glasses! Cracked and dangling, but they are yours. You asked how he found them but he waved the question off with a hand and 'eh' sound.
