"So, you think it's ghouls?" I asked Sam.
"Yes, I'm positive" Sam assured him.
"Alright. We know where they are and what they are, so let's go kill the sons of bitches."
"Are you sure you should be going?"
"Why not?"
"Dean, you're pregnant! What if you get hurt?"
"I'll be fine"
"Just please be careful"
"Always"
Sam and I went to the Impala; I was in the driver's seat, and Sam was in the passenger. It was only a short drive to the cemetery where the ghouls were living. Quietly, we got out of the Impala and grabbed our weapons from the back. Each of us wielded a machete as we cautiously walked into the cemetery. I stopped for a second because I heard footsteps. A ghoul stepped out from behind a gravestone. Without thinking, I swung the machete and chopped his head clean off. The body sunk to the ground. All hell broke loose then. Ghouls came from everywhere. I started out fine, but my pregnancy made me tire quickly. One ghoul came right at me and knocked me to the ground. Luckily, I didn't fall hard. My machete flew from my hands as I fell, and now it was just out of reach of my fingertips. "Dean!" I heard Sam yell, but he was being surrounded by the monsters, therefore unable to help me. Just as the ghoul was about to sink his teeth into me, a knife was stabbed into his neck. The head of the monster fell to the ground beside me. The body fell limp on top of me. I quickly threw it to the side. When I looked back in front of me, it wasn't Sam that I saw, like I had expected.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I'm saving your life, for a second time", the ghost of my father said.
I quickly got up, tears already forming in my eyes, "Why did you sell your soul? Why did you have to die?"
"Aw, Dean, I would rather die and live without the two most important people in my life" he said, putting his hands on my ever growing baby bump.
"But, Dad, how do you think I feel about having to live without you?" I asked, the tears falling freely from my eyes.
"You weren't finished with your life Dean. You still have business in this world: you have this baby to take care of, and your brother to look after."
I nodded, "Thank you, Dad. You made the ultimate sacrifice for me and our baby."
He smiled, "I'll always love you, Dean"
"I love you, too, Dad" I said, quickly hugging the ghost. Unfortunately, I didn't feel anything. It felt as if I was trying to hug thin air. Suddenly, I felt Sam's hand on my shoulder.
"You okay?" he asked me.
"I saw Dad" I told him, turning to hug him and allowing my tears to damping his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me.
"I know. I saw him save you" Sam said.
"Please don't leave me like he did" I begged.
"Dean, he died to save you, he didn't want to leave you behind, he didn't have a choice." Sam started rubbing my back.
"Just promise" I begged again.
"I promise."
