My finger is beginning to get better, but I felt bad for not updating and really wanted to write, so here we go. I've also been thinking about updating the cover of this book, what do you guys think about that?

Suggested by: A lot of you. I didn't really proofread this, so sorry for any mistakes.

Sam slowly went over everything he needed for his date with Dean. He double checked to make sure he had the notebook they always used to talk. One day, the notebook will be filled with their conversations. It would become a memory of the early days of their friendship, and hopefully their relationship.

Deciding he had everything, Sam picked up the picnic basket and walked out to his car. He drove to Dean's house. Dean's mother answered the door. "Are you the young man Dean is going out with?" She said cheerfully.

"That would be me," Sam awkwardly held out his hand. She shook it with a smile and invited him inside.

"I'll go check on Dean, he should be down any second." She walked upstairs, leaving Sam in the living room. Not knowing what to do, he just stood there, looking around the room. A few seconds later, he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Both boys smiled when they saw each other. Dean immediately wrapped his arms around Sam and hugged him as best he could with his pregnant belly. "You two are cute," Dean's mom said to Sam.

"Thanks," Sam mumbled.

Dean's mother signed and said, "Have fun on your date. Don't be too late, though."

Sam and Dean both nodded before walking back out to Sam's car. Sam handed Dean their notebook once they were in the car.

Where are we going?, Dean wrote.

Sam quickly scribbled, surprise, before backing out of the driveway. He drove for a while, until they reached a small park.

Here?, Dean wrote, to which Sam nodded. Sam climbed out of the car, grabbed the picnic basket, and opened Dean's door for him. With a smile, Dean grabbed Sam's hand and got out of the car. Their hands stayed together as Sam found a spot to set up the picnic. They ate the food Sam brought and made casual conversation in their notebook. When they were finished eating, Dean cuddled in next to Sam. Sam wrapped his arms around Dean, allowing his hands to rest on Dean's stomach. He smiled when he felt the baby move.

What are you smiling about?, Dean asked.

The baby's kicking, Sam wrote back.

Dean smiled at Sam and moved his own hand to feel the baby kicking him. He felt Sam lean down and kiss his forehead. Will you ever leave me?, Dean suddenly asked.

What do you mean?, Sam replied.

This is going so well, but I can't help but think you'll leave and never want anything to do with me, Dean frantically scribbled.

Sam put a finger beneath Dean's chin and forced him to look at him. When their eyes met, Sam leaned in and softly kissed Dean. He was too stunned to kiss back, but Sam didn't think much of it. He then took the notebook out of Dean's arms and wrote, No, I'll always be here for you.

Sam watched as Dean read the words. The boy looked up at Sam with tears in his eyes. He suddenly collapsed into Sam's arms. Sam could feel that Dean was overcome with happiness at Sam's words. He wrapped his arms around Dean and held him close.

After a few minutes, Dean decided they should head home. They climbed into the car and headed back to Dean's house. Through the entire trip, Dean held Sam's hand. When Sam stopped in Dean's driveway, Sam wrote, Can we go out again sometime?

Of course, Dean replied. He leaned toward Sam and kissed his lips. Sam kissed back. Only a couple seconds passed before Dean broke the kiss and hopped out of the car. He waved to Sam as he stepped into his house, leaving Sam to catch his breath in the car.
