One Year Later
Deanna laid in her bed, Sam and Cass on either side of her. While she loved her little family, there was something missing. It had been a while since she had decided to change her sex, one of the reasons being she wanted to have her own child—a child neither Sam nor Cass had given her yet. She smiled to herself as an idea came to her. Rolling over to face Cass, she began to formulate her plan.
A couple days later, the package came to the bunker. She smirked as she brought the package in straight to her room and opened it. It was a white shirt with light pink letters, saying, "Put a baby in me" with an arrow pointing downward. She immediately put it one, and casually walked out to join Cass and Sam. Cass and Sam both looked at Deanna, then glanced at each other.
"You want a child?" Cass asked.
"Yes, I've wanted one for a while now, but both of you have failed to give me a child," Deanna said.
"Deanna, baby," Sam said, "Babies are expensive, and have to be taken care of all their lives."
"I know, Sammy, but we can do it."
"Do you really want another child to grow up like we did? Hunting?"
"But we can make sure to give our baby a better life than what we had."
Sam looked at Cass, who said, "I kinda want a baby, too."
Sam sighed, "I guess we'll figure something out."
Deanna hugged Sam tightly, "Are you sure?"
"Yes, I do actually want a baby too, but I just didn't want to mess anything up in their life," Sam said.
*Ha, writing male / female smut makes me deeply uncomfortable and I'm straight...*
A couple weeks passed, and Deanna finally began to show symptoms of pregnancy.
"Sammy, I think I need a pregnancy test."
Sam's face lit up, "Really?"
Deanna smiled, "Don't get over excited, but I just have this feeling and a couple symptoms."
"I'm going to go out now, you give Cass a call, okay?" Sam said as he grabbed his jacket and walked out the door.
"Okay," Deanna said, basically to herself with a smile. Sam was actually supporting her, which she couldn't be happier about.
Once Cass arrived and Sam got back, Deanna gave them both a hopeful look before going into the bathroom. Sam and Cass waited eagerly outside the door.
"Well?" Sam asked after a few minutes passed.
The bathroom door opened, Deanna standing in the doorway with a huge smile on her face.
"We're pregnant!" she shouted, showing them the pregnancy test.
