Lazarus emerged from the grove with the two wolves and strode confidently into the gardens. Seconds later, a cold settled in the gardens freezing the flora as the Super Naturals followed their lord. They waited silently for their orders.
Constantine and Kirana smiled in anticipation. Their own Super Natural forces were waiting outside the City. Only the other ranks of their army had joined the Battle Masters to surround the city. No one would escape the area. Valentine's smaller force was in the gardens too. They waited behind their lord.
Isis and Jinx shivered. It was cold.
"Xico," Constantine commanded his familiar.
The magnificent falcon circled lazily in wide arcs above them.
"The enemy have entered the city. None are left outside. They have spread all over the courtyard, market square, living areas and even the farms and mines."
"Anyone near our position?"
"Nearest are those at the Keep. They think the wretched Assassin is still in the groove and the gardens are secured by the units you and the others have killed."
"Good. It won't take long before they know. The Assassin will inform them soon."
The Red Warlock addressed the group. "They are still unaware that we have infiltrated the city. It will not take long before they do. The dead Assassin (SubZero) will communicate with them soon."
Lazarus nodded. "Constantine and I will retake the Keep and courtyard. Kirana, the market and living area. Valentine, signal for Allegra and Dimitri to come in. We will crush the enemy inside the city. Make sure nothing gets out alive."
Isis spoke up. "I will act as back-up. I will heal you as you retake the city."
"No need. Constantine will take care of me. You protect Kirana and Jinx."
He caught Kirana's eyes, "Val will assign some soldiers to you. Get some to start on clearing the farms and mines?"
"No problem."
"You can count on me!" Jinx looked around. "Where's Nyx?"
"No worries. She is safe in her own city. She is helping from outside," Lazarus said.
"What is she doing?"
"I really have no idea ... but I trust her," the assassin added surprising himself. Weird but he really did trust her he thought. Aria gave him the impression that she would see whatever she had in mind through once she had set her mind on it.
He would let her do her thing. He had his own tasks ahead.
"Let's go."

The Heroes and soldiers at the Keep were the first ones to die. An unnatural chill seeped into their bones just before the terrifying Bloodguards descended upon them. Many died from the swinging scythes before they managed to regroup and started fighting back.
Lazarus and Constantine left the Bloodguards to the NPCs at the Keep. They went to the courtyard, where most of the Heroes were still gathered. Out of the nineteen (excluding SubZero) enemy Heroes, twelve were there. The others had gone to the various parts of the city, directing their troops with the complete destruction of whatever was left. The enemy Ghost Lords were surrounded by their still massive armies.
Constantine raised his arms and reddish glows enveloped himself and the crazy assassin beside him.
"Now we will cheat too, my friend!" he said gleefully. "None can hurt us. I have put personal Shields up."
