Connor's POV

I made it to Hank's house. I had no where else to go. I didn't know what to do. She was a deviant, but...no matter what I felt so awful for how she had reacted. How she had looked at me made me feel worse.

When I got there I rang the doorbell and I could hear Sumo bark and Hank's voice talking to him as he came to answer. Hank looked at me and sighed.

"What is it this time, Connor?" He asked.

"Lieutenant...something happened." I said. He noticed how different my tone was and he let me in. He told me to sit on the couch with him to which I complied.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"It's about (Y/n) and her friends. I..I feel like I made a mistake, but I don't know what to think." I said.

"Well, what happened?" He asked.

"I went to go see her after you left me at the park. I wanted to talk to her about what she had done earlier, but when I got there it was light out and all of her friends were gone at their jobs except Oreon. He answered the door and told me she was taking a shower. I didn't mind waiting to talk with her, but he left to go get something. He came back and started asking me weird questions and making accusations against me. Then, he pulled out a gun and told me that they were all androids. I was stunned, but since I found out he was a deviant I decided it would be best to try and stop him. It started a fight and I ended up winning, but I got to the gun and I shot him to stop him from destroying me. I wasn't really thinking, I just did it. (Y/n) came down and she never gave me the chance to explain. I wanted to tell her I was sorry and that she shouldn't feel so bad since he was a machine, but then she yelled at me saying she was a deviant as well. I didn't know how to react to it, but she took the gun and told me to get out, threatening to shoot me if I didn't. I left and...now I don't know where she is, what she's going to do, or what to think about all of this." I explained.

"(Y/n) was an android this whole time?" He asked. I nodded. He looked at a loss for what to do. "Connor, do you want to turn her in?" He asked suddenly.

"I...I don't...I don't know anymore. I know it's what I should do, but...I can't. It's too late now anyway." I said. Hank sighed.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens with her. And Connor,"

"Yes Lieutenant?"

"I'm sorry this happened to you, son." He said. I was stunned. "You can stay here with me, alright?" I nodded. I thought about her as he went into the kitchen. Sumo hopped up on the couch and laid down in my lap. I bet him. Why do I feel like this? I wish somebody could tell me.

Your POV

"You ready to go, (Y/n)?" You looked at Jacob as he came over to you. You looked down the hall that led to the basement one last time.

"Yes." You replied. He hugged you and you all left, setting out for Jericho. You had made a small memorial for Oreon in the basement. You had laid him down on the table and covered him with a blanket while placing flowers there for him. After that you had hid the basement so nobody would find him. You looked back at the house. Goodbye.

You followed your friends, having already given them the information to get to Jericho. As you all headed out, you found the starting point of the hunt. You all kept looking together until you eventually arrived at an old ship with the word 'Jericho' painted on the side.

"It's definitely not as comfy." Dell said.

"Do we really have to stay here?" Nelly asked.

"We have no choice." You said. You led the way inside and as all of your arrived, bags on your back from taking whatever belongings you could, androids began to stare at your strange group. An android with mismatched eyes came up to you all.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"These are my friends, Nelly, Dell, Jacob, Claira, Jaden, and Roxy. The two wolves are our pets, Flame and Bandit. My name is (Y/n). We were driven from are home. Our friend told us we'd be safe here. He...died before we could come on our own terms." You explained. You saw people look sad and others looked shocked. The android that had come up to you nodded.

"I'm sorry to hear that. You're all safe with us. You can stay as long as you like." He said. "My name is Markus."

"Thank you, Markus." You said.

"Are any of you injured?" He asked.

"No. We're all unharmed." You replied.

"Well, feel free to walk around. This place is for any android searching for freedom. It's as much your home as it is ours now." He told you.

"Thank you." You said. The others all thanked him too and then they went to go explore. Markus went back to his group and you listened in.

"We can't stay silent anymore. It's time humans heard what we have to say." Markus said.

"You know they'll never listen to us." An android with blond hair said.

"And revealing ourselves will put us in danger." Another android with shorter hair agreed.

"If we want freedom, we need to have the courage to ask for it. That's the only way." Markus said.

"Markus is right. No more hiding. We need to tell humans that it's time they come to terms with who we are." You said. A girl android stood up.

"What do you wanna do?" She asked.

"Channel 16 broadcasts from the Stratford Tower. The control room is on the top floor. That's where we need to go." Markus began. You smiled. This should be exciting. You thought. "We'll plan the operation down to the smallest detail. We can't leave anything to chance."

"So what's the plan then?" Josh asked. You thought about it.

"A team of two that could go into the tower first is probably the best option. It'll be less likely they'll get noticed. There should be fire escapes on every floor up until the very very top. We can't walk in with employee clothing and we can't do anything risky with normal clothes. The rest of us will have to get employee clothing while somebody is left clothing in a secret spot that we know the other person out of the two person team can get to. They can change into it and we'll be all set to get around. We have to be mindful of witnesses though. We may need some help from androids that actually work in the building too." You said. They all looked impressed by your plan.

"Alright. That's a pretty good start. Nice work, (Y/n)." Markus said. You smiled.

"I'll go with Markus as his second." The girl said.

"But how are we going to get you in? Two people will look too suspicious." The second android  man asked.

"The fire escape. I can let North in that way. She can leave the package for me in the men's bathroom. I can change in there." Markus said. You nodded. You looked up the buildings blueprints quick.

"The highest floor you can get to without being noticed is the 47th. Humans work on that floor and there's sure to be a fire escape and bathrooms." You informed. "There should also be a maintenance room on that floor. A window will be there that you can go out through. You can get to the lift that way and the rest of us will ride it to the top and meet you both there." They all nodded.

"Sounds good to me." The blond haired android said.

"Me too." The girl agreed.

"I'm in." The last android said. You all looked to Markus.

"We'll find out as much as we can. We move tomorrow." Markus said. You all nodded. Markus came over to you.

"You're really smart. That was a nice chunk of the plan you came up with. I'm glad you came. You'll be a big help here." He said. You nodded.

"I have some experience with dangerous things. Whenever you need me, just contact. I think you're right. We need to tel them who we are. I'm done with hiding."
