After a few days, all of your friends had moved out. It was just you, Connor, Bandit, and Galaxy. Jaden had taken the cats with her. Dell and taken Flame and Speckle. Tucker and Amai had gone with Roxy. You were glad all of them had good homes.
You were watching TV with Connor. He was wearing a grey T-shirt with jeans. You thought it looked nice on him. Claira had picked out some fancier things for him for special occasions while you had helped him decide what he liked for regular days things.
You cuddled up next to your boyfriend happily. He smiled at you and wrapped his arm around your waist. You sighed contently and Connor held you eve closer.
"Enjoying yourself, love?" He asked. You giggled lightly.
"Very much so." You said. He smiled and kissed your forehead.
"I'm glad to hear that." He told you. You kissed his cheek in return and then you both went back to the movie. You both watched it until it was over and then you got up an stretched.
"Well, that was fun! What should we do now?" You asked.
"Actually, can I ask you a personal question, (Y/n)?" Connor said, looking a little nervous. You frowned, but you trusted him.
"Yeah, sure." You replied.
"What happened for you to become a deviant?" He asked. You were surprised by his question.
"Um..well..." You hated remembering Raymond. You looked at Connor. You sighed. You held out your hand for him. He took it and both of your hands went white. You showed him your memories. After they finished he pulled away, shocked.
"T-that other android...it was you all along." You nodded guiltily.
"I wanted to tell you both what happened, but I couldn't. I had to lie to you. I'm sorry, Connor." You said. He pulled you into a hug.
"No, don't be sorry. I understand now. It's alright." He replied. You hugged back.
"Connor, what happened to you when I was gone?" You asked. He looked a little unsure, but he took your hand again and you saw his own memories. One of them stuck with you longer than the others.
*Flashback through Connor's POV*
Oreon pulled a gun on me, his glare filled with disgust and hatred.
"Shut up, Connor." He growled. I was stunned.
"Oreon, please calm down." I said, trying to reason with me.
"I said shut up! You work for them! None of us should ever trust you!" Oreon yelled.
"What? Oreon you are not making any sense!" I exclaimed.
"Oh really? I'm not making any sense? How about I clear thing up then." He removed the skin on his arm. I was shocked.
"You're a deviant." I said. I knew there was a reason he didn't like me.
"Don't act so surprised." He growled. I was less nervous now and more determined. He's dangerous. I should contain him. I don't want to make (Y/n) upset, but it's clear he's unstable.
"That's why you were always uncomfortable around me. You were afraid I'd turn you in." I said.
"Me? Afraid of you? Ha! No, that's not why I always pulled the distant act around you. I did that because I knew what you were trying to pull. You can't fool me. I know who you are deviant hunter." He spat.
"Oreon, you don't want this fight." I warned him.
"Really? I don't? Hm, strange. I think I do. I have the gun after all." Oreon said, being a little cocky.
"You're not going to shoot me. It wouldn't matter anyway." I said, trying to buy myself some time to think of how to approach this.
"Wouldn't it? Even if you can come back all of us will be long gone before you can catch up to us. You'll have failed your mission." He said, mocking me a little. I thought of (Y/n). She probably doesn't know he's a deviant. She'll help me catch him. I'm sure of it.
"(Y/n) will come back and she'll help me find you." I said. He laughed at that one.
"You're not serious, are you? You can't possibly think she's on your side, can you? If you think that, then you really are stupid." He said. Oreon got the shot ready. "I'm done talking. Anything left to say, Connor?" He asked. I got an idea.
"No. You caught me." I replied. He shook my head with a sigh.
"I thought you'd put up a bit more of a fight." He said. Now.
"Then you were correct." I said, glaring at him. He was confused, but then I ran at him. Before he could react I pushed his arm so he wasn't aiming at me anymore. I tried to get the gun. He punched me, but I fought back. We struggled against each other, but then I punched him in the face and he accidentally tossed the gun across the room out of both of our reaches. He glared at me as his nose started to bleed.
"Let's dance, traitor."
I fought him. We both swung at each other. He grabbed my arm and slammed me into the wall. I grunted, but I kicked him hard in the stomach. His grip loosened a little. I shoved him back and he crashed down on the coffee table, breaking it in half.
I tried to get to the gun. But he caught my ankle and I fell forward. I caught myself luckily. I rolled over onto my back as I saw him go in to punch me in the face. I blocked him and hit him in the side. He flinched, but only just.
He kept trying to hit me. I kept blocking him until I saw an opening. I lifted my legs and twisted them. He yelped as I slammed him sideways into the ground. The side of his head was bleeding now too. I desperately tried to get away from him and get the gun.
"Not so fast, bastard!" I felt h grab the back of my jacket. He yanked me back with so much force that I was sent flying into the wall, cracking it. I was dazed for a second. It was long enough for him to pick up a broken half of the table and swing it at me. I ducked just in time.
I kicked his legs out from under him. He fell with a thud. I leaped over him and raced to get the gun. He whipped around, hot on my tail. I through a broken glass at him to buy myself more time. He growled in anger and ran at me. I swiftly grabbed the gun and fired.
*End flashback*
You pulled away with a gasp. You were shocked beyond belief. He looked at the ground guiltily.
"I never wanted that to happen. I just knew I had to show you what really happened. I'm sorry (Y/n)." Connor said. You ran up to him and hugged him tightly.
"No. I should've known to listen to you. I should've seen the signs. I knew he was protective, but I never thought he'd go that far. I'm so sorry, Connor. I should've listened to you from the start." You said.
"No. You did the right thing. If you had listened to me, you and your friends would've been caught and destroyed. I could never live with myself if I had been the cause of your death." He said. You kissed him. He kissed back with just as much love and passion.
"I understand why you shot him. I still miss him, but I'm not angry anymore. I love you more than anything, Connor." You told him, cupping his cheek. He placed his free had on top of yours.
"I love you too, (Y/n). I will never let anything hurt you. I swear to you that I will protect you." He said. You smiled.
"And I swear the same to you, Connor." You both kissed again, holding each other as close as possible.
"I love you." He breathed before capturing your lips again. After it ended, you smiled at him, staring deeply into his chocolate brown eyes.
"I love you too."
