When you all got home, Oreon went to his room to relax. You noticed how different he acted when it was just the three of you. He was distant and he hardly acted like he cared, but you knew that wasn't true.

"(Y/n)? Are you alright?" You came out of your thoughts as Connor spoke to you.

"Yeah, I'm just worried about him. He never acted like this before." You said. Connor's LED went yellow for a moment.

"I think it's just because I'm here." He said.

"But then why was he so playful earlier?" You questioned.

"I...I don't know." He replied. You sighed.

"Maybe he should stay with somebody else. It might make him happier." You said.

"No!" Connor said. You were surprised. "Um, I don't think that would make it better. He likes being around you after all." Connor pointed out. You realized he was right. It might just make it worse if you told him to leave.

"You're right. I don't want to hurt him." You said. "But what else can we do?" Connor kissed your forehead.

"It'll be fine, love. It'll just take some time." He said. You smiled and gave him a quick kiss.

"Yeah. You're right." You said. He smiled and you both kissed again, holding each other close together.

Oreon's POV

I listened to both of them. I couldn't stop myself. I wanted to know. I listened closely through the door and I heard them talking again.

"(Y/n)? Are you alright?" Connor asked.

"Yeah, I'm just worried about him. He never acted like this before." She replied.

"I think it's just because I'm here." He said.

"But then why was he so playful earlier?" She questioned.

"I...I don't know." He lied. I knew he just didn't want to tell her the truth. I was honestly surprised he didn't. (Y/n) sighed.

"Maybe he should stay with somebody else. It might make him happier." I felt shock and fear race through my body. S-she's gonna make me leave!?

"No!" Connor said suddenly. His quick rejection of the idea stunned me. "Um, I don't think that would make it better. He likes being around you after all." Connor pointed out. I was stunned. He wants me to stay? Why? I thought he didn't like me either. I wondered. I heard (Y/n) speak again.

"You're right. I don't want to hurt him." She said. "But what else can we do?"

"It'll be fine, love. It'll just take some time." He said.

"Yeah. You're right." She replied. I could hear the warmth in her voice. A warmth she only used toward him. I tried to ignore the pang in my heart. I heard them kiss and then they went to go watch some of (Y/n)'s cop shows.

I sighed. I wondered if I should at least try to join them. I decided I should. I didn't want to make her too concerned about me. I didn't want her to figure it out. I walked back out, forcing a fake smile onto my face.

"Hey, guys!" I said. (Y/n) and Connor both looked surprised as I sat down in a chair with a smile. "What are we watching?" I asked.

"Um...just one of my shows." (Y/n) said.

"Nice! Like we used to do, right?" I said.

"Yeah..." She agreed.

"What?" I asked, trying to make it look like I was confused as to why both of them were acting weird toward me. I really hope I didn't just make this worse. I relaxed when she started to smile.

"Nothing! I'm glad you came out to join us! I wouldn't want you to become a hermit in your room!" She chuckled. I laughed along, trying to be casual. Connor was looking over me though. I knew he had figured it out. I hated that he was so advanced. He could practically predict my every move.

"It's nice you can join us, Oreon." Connor said. I looked at him. He gave me a smile, but I could already tell it was fake. He's uncomfortable. LED is a dead give away. Yellow? Seriously? I thought.

"Yeah! I'm glad you came out!" (Y/n) said. "Now shh! I wanna watch what's happening!" She said, staring like a child at the screen. I smiled a little. She's so adorable. I stopped smiling as Connor smiled at her, tearing his attention away from me. He wrapped one arm around her and I felt jealousy rise inside of me. I didn't want to be jealous, but it was the only alternative to sadness. I forced myself to ignore it. I watched for a while, but then, (Y/n) sighed.

"Hey, Con?"

"Yes?"

"Can you grab a blanket?" She asked.

"I got it." I said, trying to be helpful. She smiled.

"Thanks, Oreon!" She said. I grabbed a blanket for her. They both used it and we went back to watching her show. After we watched a few episodes, (Y/n) commenting along with them as usual. I chuckled. She was so adorable. The only problem was Connor thought the same thing.

(Y/n) got up and stretched. Connor got up with her and put the blanket back neatly where he found it. I swear that blanket could not possibly be folded better. Talk about a perfectionist. I commented silently to myself.

"I better go bring in the wolves for a bath. Hey, can you help me get them boys?" (Y/n) asked us. We nodded.

"Yeah! Of course!" I said. She smiled happily and went upstairs to get the bath ready. Connor and I went outside to get the wolves who were lazing around in the sun.

"Why did you want to sit with us?" Connor asked.

"She's my...sister. Why wouldn't I want to spend time with her?" I asked.

"I know why." He replied. I growled angrily.

"You don't know anything about me." I growled.

"I know you care for her." He said. I didn't respond.

"Bandit! Galaxy! Inside! Bath time!" I shouted. They both got up and bounded over to Connor. They greeted him and he smiled.

"Come on you two! (Y/n)'s waiting!" He said. They looked happy and they hurried away. I felt even more jealous. He's even better with them than me. I followed them all inside and I went to my room, locking the door. I laid down, hoping some sleep would help me calm down. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.
