Connor's POV

I walked to Hank, knowing Oreon would probably be better off without me around. I soon arrived and Sumo was already barking before I rang the doorbell. I chuckled and rang anyway. Hank answered and greeted me. He let me in and we both sat down on the couch.

"So, what's the latest news, ey Connor?" He asked.

"Well, Oreon still isn't comfortable with me. I've been trying to get him to become at least okay with me, but it isn't working. I've decided it will be best if I just avoid making him upset as much as I can." I explained. Hank nodded.

"Well, what else can ya do, right?" He said. I nodded.

"But anyway, I came here to ask for your advice, Hank." I said.

"Advice? Advice for what? Oreon?" He asked.

"No, for (Y/n)." I said.

"What kind of advice? You're gonna have to be a bit more specific, Connor." Hank said.

"Well, I know that were are technically 'dating' but it occurred to me that we've never actually been on an actual date. I was wondering, what is a date?" I asked. Hank looked surprised.

"You don't know what it is?" He asked.

"I understand that it would be just between me and (Y/n), but I do not understand much past that." I said.

"Well, asking her out isn't gonna be too hard, I'd imagine. You're already living with her." He said.

"So what do I do?" I asked.

"Well, you gotta come up with a place for both of you to go. A date is usually when two people go out to do something like dinner or a movie, but I don't think either of those work for you two unless you do a date at your house." Hank said.

"I know she likes movies. I suppose it would be a valid option." I said.

"Alright, so that's step one done already. But I think you should make it a bit more special than just Netflix and chill, basically. You should clear the living room and make a type of dance floor. You can play music in the living room, right?" He asked.

"Correct." I confirmed.

"Alright, so you can dance with her, watch a movie, now we just need a reason for Oreon to leave." Hank said.

"I will see what I can do." I replied.

"Alright, so, I'm no love expert, but I do know how to at least ask a girl out. So, you should ask (Y/n) if she wants to go on a date and then explain the details to her. If she says yes, then you should have a nicer outfit for the evening. You want to look nice for her. Once the time comes you can both dance, or watch a movie downstairs, maybe even have a drink. I know you androids don't need to eat, but one drink can't hurt you." Hank said. I nodded.

"So, everything should be romantic?" I asked.

"Yeah." Hank said. "Think you got it from there, son?" He asked.

"Yes, but one last question."

"What?"

"What is 'Netfilx and chill'?"

"....I forgot you're basically 3 months old.... I have a lot of explaining to do."

Your POV

You were trying to decide on an outfit for tomorrow night. You wanted something cute but casual. Then, you heard the front door.

"(Y/n)! I'm home!" You smiled as you heard Connor.

"Up here, Connor!" You called. You soon heard him come down the hall and into your shared bedroom.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Trying to find an outfit for tomorrow night." You said.

"How...how did you know?" He asked.

"Know what? About the group night out? Oreon told me." You said.

"Oh, you meant something else. Well, I want to ask you about something that also takes place tomorrow night." Connor said.

"Really?" You asked. "What is it?"

"(Y/n), I know that we have established a relationship with one another, but we have never been on a real 'date'. I-I was wondering...would you go out with me tomorrow night?" He asked. You were stunned and touched.

"Oh Connor, I would love to." You said. He smiled.

"Really?" He asked happily.

"Of course, Con. I'll just have to tell Oreon he's gonna have to go it solo. I hope he won't get too upset." You said. Connor frowned for a moment as well.

"I'm sure he'll appreciate a night away with just his friends." Connor assured. You smiled.

"Yeah! He'll have fun!" You said. Connor nodded in agreement.

"Well, I better call up Claira. I don't have anything for a date. I'm sure she could find something. I know you have some nice clothes now, so you should be okay." You said. He nodded. "Can you call Claira for me? I have to go talk to Oreon." He nodded.

"Of course." He replied. You hurried off and you found Oreon outside with the wolves.

"Hey, Oreon!" You called.

"Yeah?" He asked, turning around.

"Um, listen, I can't make it tomorrow night." You said. His face instantly fell.

"W-what? Why?" He asked.

"Oreon, please don't get mad, but Connor just asked me out for tomorrow night and, well, I can't just turn him down. This would be our first actual date. You understand, don't you?" You asked. You saw his stunned stare and you knew that you had just really hurt him. "I-I could always ask him to move it to the day after-"

"No." He said. You stopped.

"What?" You asked.

"No." He said with a smile, taking your hands in his. "If staying with Connor is what is going to make your night a good one, then stay. You don't want me hanging around during your date anyway. I don't wanna be a third wheel." He said. You smiled warmly at him.

"Oreon, you're the best." You said. You gave him a peck on the cheek. "Thank you for understanding." You said. He blushed slightly but smiled back.

"N-no problem." He replied. You hugged him and then you hurried back inside.

"Thanks again, Oreon!" You called before disappearing inside the house.

Oreon's POV

"Thanks again, Oreon!" She called before heading inside. As soon as she was inside I walked over to one of the metal poles holding the fence that surrounded the backyard and punched it as hard as I could. GOD DAMN IT CONNOR!! WHY CAN'T I HAVE ONE PEACEFUL NIGHT WITH HER!? I screamed to myself. Both of the wolves looked scared of me. I heard their whimpers and I felt bad.

"Oh, guys I didn't mean to scare you-" They backed away from me and scampered to their large shared dog house. I felt even more upset and alone now. I ran inside and to my room. I shut the door fast and I broke down. I cried for what seemed like days to me. I cried and cried until I thought it would be impossible for me to produce any more water ever. I wiped the remaining tears away and looked at my hand. It was damaged and still bleeding. I sniffed back any more tears and headed to the basement to fix it. I went down there and fixed my hand. I sighed heavily. Is this gonna be my life now forever? Always cursed to see the girl of my dreams be so happy with the person I dislike the most? It brought tears to my eyes again. If only I could change this. If only I could turn back time. If only...if only you loved me.
