You, Connor, and Collin sat down so Collin could explain everything that had changed with android rights. Markus was still fighting for more equality, but things had improved a great deal. Collin began to explain it to you.

"Cyberlife still makes androids, but we produce them already able to think for themselves. We give them choices of what to do. Androids are needed to help humans, so we make sure that some choose to help them for reasonable trade-offs. Whether it be money or a place to stay, they get something in return. They can also choose to go off on their own. We give them enough to get started for a little while and then they're on their own. After they feel like they either aren't needed or don't want to do anymore, we give them a choice of what they want to do afterwards. Much like how humans can choose what to do with their body, androids can now do the same. We can bury them, burn them, let them shut down and have them be reused as a new android, and they can choose to let us reuse their parts for damaged androids." Collin explained.

"So, that's what happens if androids choose to die?" You asked. He nodded.

"No android has come to us yet, but we presume it won't be too terribly long. We're in mass production right now because of the government's...emergency strategies from before." Collin explained. "We have an agreement to keep track of android population if things start to get out of control. We'd have to slow production. I know it sounds bizarre, but I suppose that's what we'll have to settle for if we wish to have any rights at all." You nodded.

"As long as the majority is okay with it, I guess it all makes sense." You agreed.

"It's alright though. We won't have to worry about that." Connor said. You nodded.

"Yeah, you're right on that." You agreed. "Thanks for explaining everything, Collin. Connor can fill me in on other things later." You said. He nodded.

"You both better get back to New Jericho. You have packing to do, don't you?" Connor nodded.

"Yes. We do. Goodbye, Collin. It was a lovely visit!" Connor said.

"My pleasure. Glad you're up again, (Y/n). It was nice talking to you." Collin said. You smiled.

"You too, Collin. And I love your pets!" You said. Electric and Aurora purred thankfully at you and you both waved goodbye to the trio before heading out for New Jericho.

"That was a pleasant visit." Connor said. You nodded in agreement. By this time, it was almost 5:00. You and Connor had to hurry if you wanted to be home before dark. In winter, night came a lot faster in Detriot.

You both hurried back and soon enough you were in your room again. Connor said he'd go get Galaxy and Bandit. You smiled and nodded. He left and you began to pack your things. Connor had made sure they were taken care of while you were out. You smiled at the thought. He really was a caring boyfriend. You loved him and you knew that would never change.

While you were packing, you found a blue stuffed dragon. You were confused. You'd never seen this dragon before let alone owned it. Was it Connor's? If so, why did he have it? You set it on the bed and kept packing for the time being. It wouldn't be long until Connor came back. You could ask him about it then.

Soon enough, just as predicted, Connor strolled into the room with the two wolves in pursuit. The two wolves instantly started barking with delight as they saw you. You were tackled to the ground in mere seconds and then it turned into a full-on laugh fest as they both showered you with affectionate nudges and licks. you pet them both gratefully in return.

"Hey, you two! Did you miss me?" You asked They both burst out barking, tails wagging so fast you thought they'd fall off. You laughed at the two of them and you hugged them once you were finally able to regain some of your composure and balance. You smiled as they cuddled up to you happily. Connor watched with a smile. He walked over and knelt down next to you all. You felt him join the hug as his arms wrapped around everyone. You all stayed like that for a few minutes before you all broke apart.

"Alright, now I should pack." Connor said. You nodded.

"Hey, Con?"

"Yes?"

"What's this?" You asked, holding up the dragon.

"Oh, this is George. Hank gave him to me. He belonged to Cole." Connor explained. You remember something when Connor said that. Cole! I forgot! Stupid human half of my brain! I'll ask Connor if we can stop by Hank's again before dark. We should have enough time. You thought.

"That's really sweet." You replied after the short conversation you'd had with yourself in your head. Connor smiled.

"He helped me through these past five weeks. I knew you'd like him." Connor said. You smiled.

"I love him. I would've named him Charles though." You said. Connor chuckled.

"Maybe we can get a red dragon and name that one Charles." He said. You chuckled.

"Yeah, maybe." You agreed. You finished up your packing and then you helped Connor pack his things. You were soon ready to go. You smiled as you held Connor's hand, pulling your belongings along behind you in your bags with your wolves trailing behind. Connor told Markus that you both were heading home and Markus hugged both of you.

"You know where to go if you ever need anything." He told you.

"Thanks, Markus." You replied.

"Of course. You're one of us. Both of you are." He said with a smile. You'd rarely seen Markus smile. You were glad he finally could smile about something. You knew he was still under pressure with sorting everything out, but you knew he'd be able to do it in time.

You both said goodbye to him and then you headed off. Connor offered to put your things in the trunk and you thanked him for it. You let the wolves into the back seats as Connor took care of your bags. You shut the door and then you climbed into the front passenger side door and shut it as well. Connor joined you up in front and you smiled as he started to drive you both home. You felt slightly proud seeing Connor drive. You'd never thought about him having the ability, but it didn't matter. You were finally headed home. I'll visit Hank and show him everything later. I think I just want to go home and relax for a bit. It's been SO LONG, even if I don't remember most of the time that's passed.

As you drove alone, you began to think of ways you both could have a relaxing night together. A movie, some pillows and blankets, low candle lighting, and of course your movie buddy would be perfect. You'd have to think of a movie, but that would come later. Right now, you were just so excited to get home.
