You were getting ready to head out. You felt a fire in your heart. It was familiar. You knew this fire well, but you just didn't remember it. It was foreign yet it also felt like an old friend. You made sure that you were ready. Your gun strapped to the holster and your gaze fierce as you looked over yourself. You wanted to prepare yourself to find this android, but you still felt nerves tugging at your stomach.

Connor came into your bedroom as you finished looking over yourself in the full-body closet mirror. He walked over, once again wearing something more like his old uniform. You did like his style, but at times you felt like he was still clinging to the android he was before he became deviant. It was like he was afraid to change, unsure of what people would think of him. Maybe unsure of how you would think of him. You pushed it away. You could talk to him about that later.

He came over to you, a smile on his lips. You didn't say anything for a moment, simply wrapping one hand around your waist and smiling at you in the mirror. For a moment, it was like you both were looking at a life-size picture of the two of you. Connor broke it, finally deciding to speak.

"You look nice." He said. You turned away from the mirror and kissed his cheek,

"So do you, Con." You replied. He blushed a bit, but his smile held a great amount of joy at your words. You smiled back at him. There really was nobody else like him.

"Thank you, (Y/n)." You kissed his nose.

"You're welcome." You replied. "Now, come on. We'd better head downstairs. Oreon should be here with Hank soon." Connor nodded and you both headed downstairs.

You sat next to your boyfriend on the couch, thinking over all the events that could take place that night. One nagged at the back of your mind. Connor, sensing your unease, looked at you with concern.

"Is something wrong, (Y/n)?" He asked. You sighed.

"Connor....I don't want to believe it, but...that if all those years ago it really was just another deviant case. I just...we never treated her badly. I never imagined her killed anyone in cold blood. And...why would she be after me after all those years? It just...it doesn't add up. And...if it does...it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Well, if that were possible for me now." Connor hugged you.

"(Y/n), your gut has not been wrong yet. I have high hopes that there is more to this than what meets the eye. Even if it might not necessarily be good things, I feel like you're right. I trust you, and I believe you." He said, cupping your cheek with a reassuring smile. You kissed him for a moment.

"Thanks, Con. You always know what to say to me." You said. He chuckled.

"Because I know you better than anyone, well, aside from Hank." He said. You laughed a bit, nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, heheh." You both stayed there together until a knock was heard on the door. You both got up and hurried over. You said goodbye once again to your wolves and then you opened the door to Oreon. He beckoned you after him, already heading back to his car. You both followed after him and you hopped into the back, sitting next to Connor.

"Hey, Hank!" You greeted.

"Good evening, Lieutenant." Connor said after you.

"Hey, (Y/n). Hey, Connor." Hank greeted. Oreon hopped into the driver's seat and he got ready to head out.

"Well, let's go see if this lead is actually promising." Oreon said. You all nodded in agreement and Oreon rolled out of the driveway, heading to the Eden Club.

"You really think it's gonna be her?" Hank asked.

"It's worth going to check out. It's all we've gotten so far." You said.

"Yeah, but a lot of androids could have a close description to 'singer with a stage name'." Hank said.

"We should be optimistic, but we shouldn't pin all of our hope on this android." Connor said.

"Connor's right. There's no way to know. We have to hope, but we shouldn't be too optimistic." Oreon agreed. You all nodded and kept going.

Soon enough you arrived and Oreon parked in the new parking lot there. They must be getting more people to come. I wonder how much has changed. You thought to yourself. You all got out and Hank huffed.

"I really wish we didn't have to come back to this place." He said.

"Lighten up Hank. We get a singer's show this time." You pointed out. He sighed.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He huffed. You all walked in and you saw that there were some signs up, directing people to a stage show that was in a newly remodeled room with a stage and booths. There was even a bar off to the side with drink service. Androids and humans alike now worked at the Eden Club as ether dancers, waiter/waitresses, or sex workers. And then there was the performer people in the booths were coming to see. The signs called her the 'Mistress and Hearts'. You and your team sat down, patiently waiting for the performance to begin. You had a couple of minutes yet.

"Mistress of Hearts?" Hank asked as you all sat down.

"I suppose it makes logical sense." Connor said.

"Seems kind cliche." Oreon voiced.

"None of that matters. It only matters that we find out if this is her or not." You told them. A waitress came over to you. Her outfit was more showing, but of course, that was how it was at this place.

"Can I get anybody anything?" She asked.

"We're all good, thanks." Hank said. She nodded and left to go to another table.

"Hank turns down a drink?" You asked.

"I had my own before we came." He said. You chuckled and so did Connor and Oreon. Then, the lights in the room dimmed.

"Everyone, it's time to welcome up our new rising in-house star, the Mistress of Hearts!" A voice said over speakers. A girl came out wearing a beautiful dress and she still had her LED in. Her dress was very nice. It was something you knew Claira would like.

The blue circle glowed in the dim lighting until purple, blue, and dark pink lights lit up the stage and her figure, creating a beautiful glitter effect behind her and on her dress as she moved

The blue circle glowed in the dim lighting until purple, blue, and dark pink lights lit up the stage and her figure, creating a beautiful glitter effect behind her and on her dress as she moved. She had on a mask though so you couldn't see her face. You all listened to her as she sang Hallelujah by P!ATD. Her voice was beautiful, but Oreon seemed to be focussing on her a lot more than the rest of you. When her performance finished, she removed her mask with a grin and Oreon gasped his eyes widening in shock.

"Valentine!?"
