You and Connor were walking the wolves out in the cold. Your breath puffed out in front of you and she shivered slightly, the coat you had just barely enough to keep you from shivering all the time. Connor noticed this.

"Are you cold?" He asked. You nodded. "Can you turn the sensitivity down?"

"I-I tried." She said.

"Come here." He said. He held you close to him and he heated you up. You smiled.

"Thanks." You said.

"Your sensors must be unusually enhanced." He said.

"Yeah. Maybe they are." You agreed. You all kept walking along, the wolves playfully running ahead every once in a while. They waited for you both if you called them or if they noticed they were getting too far away.

You all headed to the park to play for a bit. Bandit and Galaxy raced forward, plowing through the snow that covered the playground there. You chuckled as Galaxy tumbled, filling her fur with snow. Bandit rolled around making himself look the same way. You laughed and Connor chuckled along.

You both went to play with the two wolves. You made a snow angel with Bandit while Galaxy insisted Connor bury her in the snow. He did and you began to do the same. You both spent about 10 minutes on the wolves and you both stood back to admire your work. Both you and Connor laughed and then the wolves launched forward and tackled you both into the snow. You smiled, enjoying the time you all shared together. Once the wolves got off you and Connor sat up.

"Well, they certainly have energy." You said.

"Indeed." Connor agreed. You both got up and brushed yourselves off. You both walked over to the bench and sat down, allowing the wolves to tumble and play by themselves.  You sighed contently. Connor smiled as he observed the wolves calmly. You closed your eyes, letting your mind wander. Suddenly, you thought of a single question.

"Connor, do you think I'm odd?" You asked.

"Odd?" He asked.

"Yeah. You know, different?" You said.

"Different, yes. Odd, no."

"They're the same thing, Connor."

"No." He said. "Odd means strange. Different is just that. Something outside of ordinary. You are by far not ordinary." He said. You smiled.

"You're right. Nevermind, I don't know what I was thinking." You said.

"What made you ask?" He said.

"I guess...I just am confused why I was never good at what I was originally programmed to do. It made no sense to me. I was forgetful when I shouldn't be. I wasn't good at the tasks. Things like that." You explained. He thought about it.

"Maybe it was just the signs of your deviancy." He said. You nodded.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I just thought it was...weird, you know?" You said.

"I can understand why you would be confused, but I can assure you that you're probably fretting over nothing." He said. "Besides, it's all in the past now. I'm glad you're how you are. I wouldn't change anything about you for the world. I mean that." He said, kissing your forehead. You smiled at him.

"Thanks, Con." You said. He nodded. You both then decided it was time to get moving.

"I think we should get some more distance in today. It will give us something to do." Connor said. You nodded.

"Sure!" You agreed. You all began to head to another place. You headed to New Jericho. When you got there you saw that Markus was very stressed. You and Connor were concerned.

"Markus? What's going on?" You asked.

"Cyberlife. They have something that the women running it claims can wipe us all out. There was a hacked video call about an hour ago. Everyone is afraid and nobody knows what's going on." He said.

"Do you know who the woman was?" You asked.

"No. It was just her voice." Markus replied. You both looked at each other worriedly.

"Can we hear it?" Connor asked. He nodded and played it over for both of you.

"Hello. I know you all believe you've won, but this was only just the beginning. Cyberlife is more powerful than you all think. I will have control. Try and stop us this time. You'll never be able to defeat our new weapon. I must go now. Have a lovely day! These upcoming days may be your last." Connor looked uncomfortable, but you were frozen in horror.

"Do we know anything else?" Connor asked.

"No, we-...(Y/n)? Are you alright?" Marus asked.

"It's her. That's the woman I saw Connor. When I saw you, but it wasn't you. I'm sure of it." You said. He nodded.

"Do you know what she looks like?" Markus asked.

"She has dark skin, long black hair, and green eyes." You said. They nodded.

"We'll keep an eye out. I'll tell the others." Markus said.

"What else should we do?" You asked.

"Until we know what's happening, we should stay as hidden as we can. The humans don't know the location of New Jericho. Hopefully, they haven't figured it out. You two should stay at your home and warn your friends to do the same." Markus said. You both nodded. You began to head home immediately, but then you gasped as you realized something. Connor looked back at you, clearly concerned.

"(Y/n)? What's wrong?" He asked.

"Oreon doesn't know what's going on. What if they find him!? We have to warn him!" You said.

"It's okay. We'll find him, okay? We'll make sure he's safe. I promise." Connor said. You smiled. "I'll tell Markus about it so they can keep an eye out for him."

"What? Connor we can't just sit and do nothing!"

"(Y/n), I'm not going to risk you and if I go he won't listen. There's nothing we can do, (Y/n). We have to count on the others." Connor told you. I'm not going to do nothing. I'll take Bandit and find him tonight. He couldn't have gone too far.

"Alright. You're right." You said. He smiled.

"I can't lose you. You understand that, right?" You nodded.

"I understand, Connor." But I'm not a baby. You added silently. You both walked home together after that. You were determined to do this. I will find him. I can do this! I know I can.
