It had been two days. You were talking with all of your friends. They had all arrived at New Jericho. Everyone except Oreon. You were really worried about him. They had looked for him, but nobody had found any sign of him. You were beginning to wonder if Collin or Cyberlife had captured him.

You hated being trapped down in the tunnels. You weren't allowed to leave. You didn't understand what was going on and Connor just kept telling you not to worry about it. He kept telling you that you were both safe, but you were beginning to believe him less and less. You decided to talk to him about it.

"Connor?"

"Yes?"

"Why aren't you telling me anything?" You asked.

"Because I don't want you to stress. It's nothing, really." He insisted.

"Stop lying to me, Connor. What is going on?" You asked. He hesitated.

"I thought you would be the person that would be honest with me. I guess I was wrong." You said, beginning to leave.

"(Y/n), wait." He said, catching your wrist. "I would tell you, but the others don't want me to. It's for the best, okay? Please, you have to trust me on this." He said, his brown eyes pleading with you. You sighed.

"Alright." You agreed. He kissed you quick.

"Thank you." He said. "I've got to go now. I'll find you at noon again, okay?" You nodded with a small smile.

"Okay, Con." You agreed. He left and you went to the occupation room. It was where everyone hung out and played games. You knew that your friends would most likely be there. Some of them anyway. The others were helping with precautions and things like that. As you walked along, the lights suddenly turned red. You knew what that meant. You raced to the control center. You ran into Nelly on the way. You both headed there together. Everyone was gathered around, Markus, Connor, North, Josh, and Simon all in the front.

"What's going on?" Markus asked the android in charge of security.

"A scout was just leaving when an android arrived here. He patched in recording live a few seconds ago!" He reported.

"Turn on the recording audio!" North said. He did and you all listened and watched with wide eyes. The image grew clearer and you gasped.

"That's him!" You whispered to Nelly. She looked scared. Connor said something to Markus and you could see him nodding. You listened to what they were saying.

"You're sure that no other androids have come here?" Collin asked.

"Y-yes. I was just curious about this place. U-um, who exactly are you looking for?" The other android asked.

"An android. She had (h/l) (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, (s/c) skin, and she should be traveling with two wolves and a male android." Collin said.

"I haven't seen anybody like that." The android replied. "Why do you need to find them?"

"I don't need the male. I just need the girl. Now," Collin pulled out a gun. "you can stop lying to me, and tell me the truth, or you can find out what happens when I pull this trigger." You heard androids gasping and saying that there was no way Collin would do that.

"I-I swear I don't know!" The other android said. Collin smirked a little.

"Pity. I guess I'm the one being rude though. It's rude to talk about somebody who is...listening." You felt horror throughout your entire body. He pulled the trigger and all you heard was a bang before there was nothing but static. People screamed and you collapsed to your knees, shaking in horror. He's after me. He doesn't even care about Connor. God help me. You whimpered silently.

"ENOUGH!!" Markus yelled and everything went dead silent other than the now faint sound of static. "This is not a time to panic! They still don't know where we are! We're safe here, but nobody is to leave New Jericho until I say otherwise!" Nelly helped you up. Your body was shaking violently and tears raced down your face.

"Where's the girl he's looking for!? We should turn her in! They won't hurt us!" I woman cried out.

"What!?" Connor shouted, shocked.

"She's right! We'll be safe! It's dangerous to keep her here!" A man agreed.

"You're insane! She's one of us!" You heard Jax yell.

"Yeah! What the hell!?" Jacob agreed.

"Nobody is turning anyone in!" Markus shouted.

"Why shouldn't we!? She's causing more trouble for us!" Another man yelled.

"If you turn her in it will only make things worse!" Hank yelled.

"I believe Lieutenant Anderson may be right on this one. Giving in would not be beneficial." Kamski said.

"Shut up! You both are humans! Why should we trust you!? Why are we even harboring you!?" The man yelled. Hank was about to shout back, but you stepped in.

"STOP IT!!!!" You screamed. "GOD DAMN IT HE'S AFTER ME!! IT'LL BE MY FUCKING CHOICE WHAT I DO WITH MYSELF! YOU LEAVE MY FRIENDS THE FUCK OUT OF IT!" You screamed and stormed out, slamming the door behind you. You headed to your room and you locked the door. You collapsed against the wall and started crying out of terror and emotional agony. Why does he need me of all androids? Why?  Why does this shit keep happening to me? It's my fault that android died. Why, why, why, why, why, why, WHY!? You screamed silently. You heard a gentle knock on the door.

"(Y/n)...are you okay?" You said nothing, not even wanting to talk to Connor.

"Yeah, kid. We're worried about you." You heard Sumo bark along with Galaxy and Bandit. Even Sumo? They really want me to open that door. You thought, but you didn't move.

"(Y/n), please answer us." Connor said.

"Just go away...stay away from me. I'm 'dangerous' remember?" You choked out, your voice hoarse.

"You ain't fuckin' dangerous. You're only dangerous to those who are against ya, kiddo." Hank said. You still didn't move.

"(Y/n), please." You broke at the sadness of Connor's begging tone. You stood up and unlocked the door, then you went and laid on the bed, back facing them as they entered. Connor sat down on the edge of the bed and Hank stayed standing.

"Don't let what they said get to you." Hank said.

"Why is he after me? Me? I don't understand." You whimpered.

"None of us do, believe me. I wish we knew more." Connor said. "But I told you that I wouldn't let anything happen to you. I'm going to keep that promise." Connor assured. You latched onto him. He held you close as Hank pat your back gently.

"It's gonna be fine, (Y/n). You all won once, you can do it again, can't you?" He said.

"I don't know." You whimpered.

"I do. You've got this." Hank said. You looked at him and smiled through your tears.

"Thanks, Hank." You said. He smiled.

"Don't mention it."
