Collin's POV

I ducked into cover as more of her stupid traps went off. I was really starting to hate Cyberlife's alarm systems. Alisandra was avoiding me in every way possible. It was way too difficult to get a good shot at her. Now there were soldiers there too. I growled in annoyance. I took them down one by one. I was really glad I was programmed for these sorts of things. It did come in handy.

One soldier tried to hit me from behind. I quickly smacked them hard in the face with my gun, knocking them off their feet. I shot them and then pointed my gun upward, shooting another soldier. I had a different gun now since my original weapon had run out of shots. It was one of the benefits of more people coming. Alisandra screamed in anger.

"CAN'T YOU IDIOTS DO ANYTHING RIGHT!? IT'S ONE ANDROID! JUST KILL IT!!" She yelled, throwing a fit. I rolled my eyes while ducking into cover. Very mature, Alisandra. I thought.

I heard soldiers rushing to where I was taking shelter. I whipped my gun out around the corner, firing at them. They all fell except two of them. I hit the first in the face and jabbed the other in the ribs hard with the other end of my gun. I grabbed the first and smashed him into the second soldier. They collapsed in a heap together and I shot both of them. There were no more soldiers.

I looked around. Alisandra was absent as well. I knew she was still there. She must've slipped away while I was occupied. I thought. I cautiously looked around. I growled angrily when I couldn't find her.

"Give up, Alisandra! We've won! You've lost! You can either spend your life behind bars or end it!" I said. There was no response. I listened carefully. I heard a soft click from my back right. I whipped around and fired. I caught a glimpse of her ducking for cover. She darted by. I fire, but she was faster than she looked. I chased after her, but I growled as I lost her again. She was a lot trickier than I had thought she could ever be. It was getting annoying and very infuriating.

"I'll give up...when you're dead." She hissed. I sensed her around the corner. I ducked behind a different corner as she fired three times. I heard her growl of fury and frustration before I heard rapid footsteps going away from where I was. I followed after her, but that was my mistake. She triggered another alarm and I groaned as I had to dodge more shots from the ceiling security.

It gave her time to hide again. I was getting really sick of this deadly hide and seek game. I wanted this to be over. I knew she wanted the same, but neither of us was going to give. I had to admit I was impressed with her stamina. We had been going for almost 37 minutes now. I was slightly tired, but I thought she would've been exhausted by now.

"You used to be a good person, Alisandra. It really is unfortunate that you have resorted to such a dark mindset. You could've been a great leader, but you chose power over peace. It really is sickening." I said.

"I'm sickening? Look in the mirror lately traitor!?" She chuckled, half pissed, half amused. I sighed.

"You really can't understand it. I didn't want to have to give up on you, but you have left no other choice." I said.

"Oh, so wise be it the machines that are superior to us. Superior, yeah right. You will never be more than mere tools. No matter what you all say, you are not alive and you never will be." I didn't listen to her.

"You're wrong, Alisandra. Our blood may not be the same color, but our hearts still beat at the same pace as your own. You designed us in your image, but you treat us as low lives. What does that say about humanity? You have no issue treating a replica like dirt, no matter how similar it is to your own flesh and blood." I said.

"You are not my flesh and you are not my blood. You're all just machines and that's all you should and will ever BE!" She shouted, jumping out. She fired and I didn't have time to react. I braced for the impact, but it never came. I opened my eyes and I was shocked. Richard had....saved me. He collapsed to his knees, bleeding heavily through his shirt. Alisandra chuckled. "I told you, Richard. I warned you to stay out of my way. Such a pity. You really did have potential." She aimed at his head, but I fired at her. She saw it coming and it just clipped her shoulder as she moved out of the way. I grabbed Richard and hauled him to a protected spot. I tried to treat his wound, but he stopped me.

"You can't help me now Collin. I was wrong. I'm s-sorry." He coughed. He grinned at me. "Y-you c-can stop her." He told me. He grabbed my shoulder, pulling me a bit closer as he grew weaker and weaker at an alarming rate. "K-kill that bitch for me, yeah?" He said. I nodded. His hand fell away and the light left his eyes. I sighed. You weren't bad Richard. You just became part of the wrong crowd. I hope you can find the right one, wherever you're headed to now. I thought. I cautiously walked out. I looked around, surveying my surroundings as I searched for her. Then, I heard her gun fire another shot and a loud shattering sound. At first I didn't know what had happened, but then I found myself with the upper hand.

Alisandra's POV

I saw him walk out from his hiding spot. I grinned. I took careful aim, raising my gun toward his skull. You will never win against me. I fired, but instead of Collin collapsing, I saw the mirror I had fired at shatter into billions of little pieces. I gasped, shocked I had been fooled so easily. Collin whipped around the corner. I took aim and fired.....but nothing happened. WHAT?! NO! NO! NO! I CAN'T BE OUT OF SHOTS!! I thought, my feeling of victory quickly turning into terror. I looked up at Collin. He grinned a tiny bit and raised his gun at me.

Collin's POV

She looked terrified. She backed up with a nervous smile.

"C-Collin, come on now. L-let's just talk about this!" She said, a nervous chuckle following her request. I kept advancing toward her, my gun raised and ready. Her smile dropped for a second, revealing her true horror. "C-Collin! H-hang on now! W-we're both civilized beings, r-right? H-how about a negotiation?" She offered. I kept advancing and she tripped and fell backward, landing hard on her rear. She kept crawling back until she hit a wall with a gasp. "C-Collin! Come on! Y-you don't have to be so extreme, r-right!? L-listen! I-I'll join you! We can lead together and make this world a great place! Just us two on top, nobody else, right!? A-a perfect world!" She said, still looking highly terrified. I kept my gun pointed at her skull as she tried to reason with me. "Y-you can make the world better with me!" She said. I looked her straight in the eyes.

"Yes. I suppose I can." I said. Her smile dropped. She opened her mouth to plead, but I didn't want to hear it. I fired, the bullets piercing her skull. Her eyes instantly dimmed and her body went limp. She was completely lifeless. "Now who isn't alive?" I asked, straightening my tie. I dropped the gun, finally signifying that, after all of this, it was now over. Forever and truly over.
