Day and Night Terrors

Stephanie Foster ranged the doorbell and Lena opened it in a flash as she eyed the blond.

"Bad time?" Stef asked as she had the twins with her.

"No, but I just put my babies to nap," Lena replied. "We had a long week and we just got back from Birch."

"Why don't we play outside?" Lena asked. "My Aunt got the triplets birthday presents early and one is outside and the other inside."

"Let's go see what the triplets got?" Stef asked. "It must be special."

Outside, Stef saw it first and her mouth hung open and her eyes were huge like saucers as she eyed the massive five piece connecting play structure that connected with a bridge and she was shocked and stunned beyond belief. "WOW. IMPRESSIVE!"

The twins, Brandon and Bradley looked up as their eyes went wide like saucers and their mouths hung open in shock like their mommy's did. "WOW!"

"Why just the triplets names?" the twins asked.

"Well this is their home," Stef added. "It was their early birthday present from their Auntie."

"Oh," the twins replied. Lena smiled.

"Why don't you two play on it?" Lena asked. "The triplets and the twins loved it."

Brandon and Bradley didn't need to be told twice as they got on it and went to explore it. Stef and Lena smiled as they eyed the twins play on it as they ran and screamed in delight and glee as they had the time of their life.

"So what's the inside gift the triplets got?" Stef asked.

"The same thing out here, but inside in the biggest room and we put it in there," Lena said.

"Is your Aunt rich?" Stef asked.

"She is and she spoils the triplets. She was excited when I got pregnant."

"Is she married?" Stef asked.

"She was and my Uncle died in a car accident, she miscarried their baby and she stayed sterile because of it and she never remarried."

"Poor thing. Where does she live?" Stef asked.

"Chico," Lena said. "We asked her to move near us, but she can't leave the home."

"My grandmother was the same after my grandpa died. She never left and she still lives in her home and my dad sees her every week."

The twins saw the three tricycles and they didn't fit since they were a little tall. Lena felt bad, but Stef reassured her it was fine. The twins eyed three of the Fisher Price Coupes and one was blue since it was a Thomas one, the other one was Red since it was Lighting McQueen from Cars and the other one was My Little Pony for the triplets.

"So how are the triplets and what happened with Arnold Benedict?"

"The triplets are fine, but they lost the sparkle in their eye and they are more scared easily and careful. He took their carefree lifestyle away after he beat them."

"Crap. I thought they were getting better?"

"Day by day. Physical abuse is hard for a child, especially little kids."

"Are they seeing someone?"

"Yes. A woman who helps little kids who are abused. She was highly recommended. They saw her after Birch."

"What did he tell you?" Stef asked as Lena repeated every word to the blonde as she gaped and gasped. "I'm sorry Lena. The triplets aren't that."

"I know, but I also know that they will get crap when they are older and in school from others for not looking like me. I did when I started school and Robert made sure they all paid.
