Lake Tahoe Nevada Side

Lena called Robert for a favor and he was happy to oblige. "Stef and I want to take the kids to Lake Tahoe."

"You can use my Cabin. I have two. One on each side. "California and Nevada."

"The Nevada side," she replied.

"So I will drop off the keys with Stef since I have a meeting with Captain Roberts. We go way back. Her older sister used to watch me."

"And the triplets have their own rooms."

"Who?" Lena asked.

"Candace Greenwood," he replied as he remembered how much crap Lena and him gave the 18 year old girl.

"She's Cynthia's sister?" Lena asked.

"Yup. Cynthia was sixteen and hardly home."

"I remember," Lena replied. "Small world and thank you."

Robert Quinn walked into the station as Mike eyed him. "Robert's here."

"I know," Stef replied as she got up. 

"Here's the key and the password," he replied. "All the guestrooms will be open."

"The triplets have their rooms upstairs," he replied. "Three playrooms and a Rec room."

"Good to know," Stef said. "And thank you."

"No problem," he said. "And there's a four car garage."

"Good to know," she said. 

"And I own a pet hotel and your pets and go for free and I can have them under my name," he replied.

"Thank you," Stef said. "Saves on money."

He nodded as a women screamed. "Robbie Quinn," Candace replied as she hugged him hard.

"Hi Candace it's been a long time," he said as he smirked.

"How are you and that wife of yours?"

"I'm good and so is Lena, but we aren't married anymore."

"What?" she asked. "Why not?"

"Long story and this is Stephanie Adams Foster, Lena's wife."

"Wife? Lena's a lesbian?" she asked shocked.

"Um Bi," Stef replied. 

"Oh," Candace said. "What did you do Robbie?"

"A mistake," he said. 

"Any kids?" she asked.

"When I left neither of us knew she was pregnant."

"Boy or girl?"

"Two boys one girl. They are five going on six."

"A picture?" 

"Here they are," Stef replied. 

"They are cute and don't look black. But Lena is half white and half black and they look so much like you. Do they get crap for it? I remember when Lena came home in tears as those girls and boys teased her since she didn't look like Stuart."

"I remember. But not yet and I hope never."

"What are their names?" she asked.

"Caleb, Callum and Callie Adams Foster," he replied.

"Not Quinn?" she asked.

"No. I never knew about the triplets till January and I let Stephanie adopt them. But I didn't need to give up my rights."

"You are a good dad. Some dads would never allow it."

"I know," Robert replied as he eyed Mike as Stef did too and wanted to laugh.
