"POLICE STOP!" Stef cried out as she ran after the suspect as he gained speed and threw something at her and she got out of the way, tripped and hit her head hard on the cement floor as she blacked out. The robber saw her and ran and was hit in the face by Armando as he was taken into custody by Cooper Stevenson as Armando went to find Stef.

"STEF!" Armando cried out as he eyed her prone form and ran toward her and called it in.

"A need a bus for an Officer down," he said into phone. "NOW," he replied.

Lena got the call and it had been two days since Stef left to work after a man robbed two different stores and they were on alert. "Hello?" Lena asked.

"Lena it's Armando," he replied.

"Where's Stef? What's wrong?" Lena asked.

"She was hurt and hit her head bad and she's at Mission Bay General," he added.

"I'm on my way! I only have Callie since all the other kids had plans with friends. I will be there shortly."

"Get up baby girl," Lena replied. 

"Mama?" the girl asked since it was ten at night on a Friday and she was tired. 

"We need to get to the hospital," Lena added.

"Is it about mommy?" the girl asked.

"Yes baby girl she got hurt and Uncle Armando just called me."

Lena changed Callie and got a backpack for her and put her socks and shoes on and picked her up and put her on her hip as they left the Adams Foster home in the cold of night and Lena sped to the hospital.

Lena ran in the hospital with Callie on her left hip as Armando saw them both. "Lena."

"Armando what happened?" Lena asked as she had Callie on her hip.

"She was chasing after the suspect and he threw something and she tripped and hit her head on on the cement floor."

"Is mommy alright?" Callie asked. "She hit her head?"

"She did and Uncle Douglas is still with her," he added. "Here he comes now."

"Hi Lena. We need to talk alone," he added.

"Baby girl you need to wait with Uncle Armando," Lena replied and the girl wasn't going to have it. "But mama?"

"Come on sweet pea," Armando added. "We can wait in the waiting room."

"Fine," the girl replied. "Can I get a drink?"

"How about McDonald's?" he asked.

"Yes please," the girl replied in a small voice.

In the hallway, "She hit her head, but she's still asleep."

"How bad is it?" Lena asked.

"Any blow to the head is bad," he replied. Lena bit her lip and nodded.

"I need to call Mike. He is up in Lake Tahoe on the California side with Nicole and all of the kids."

"You can use my office," he said as she nodded and smiled.

In his office, Lena pulled out her cell and called Mike and he picked up after the third ring. "Lena?" Mike asked.

"Mike I know it's late, but Stef got hurt on the job," Lena replied.

"How hurt?" he asked since he still loves her and she will always be this soulmate and love of his life. 

"She hit her head chasing a suspect after he threw something at her and she tripped and hit her head."
