Callie Elizabeth Adams Foster sighed as she made her way to her class as the six big white girls came after her since they have nothing else better to do than to harass the smaller kids as Callie tried to get away from them, but they got to her rather quickly.
"If it isn't Mixed Me Callie," Bella Kirk replied. Callie ignored the girl and the comment.
"No she's not Mixed Me Callie, she doesn't look like her mama," Aimee Kirk replied.
"She wants to look like her mama, but never will," Emily Kirk replied.
"She wants to be Mixed Me Callie," Bella replied with a smirk.
"The real reason she doesn't look like her mama is the simple fact that's she adopted," Sarah Kirk replied.
"Why don't you look like your mama?" Tabor asked.
"Lena Adams Foster is ashamed of her only daughter," Casey replied as she came late.
"Leave me alone," Callie added as she walked away. She left to her locker and wiped her tears. This has been going on since the day she turned ten on September 20th and she disliked these girls and didn't these sixteen year old girls have anything better to do than mess with a ten year old girl?. Now it is January 20th and the first day of school and four months since this nightmare began. She cried and wiped her tears as she wiped them and opened her locker as six huge containers of black tempura paint tumbled out of her locker.
Callie eyed the jars of small Tempura black paint confused. Bella spoke up.
"These are for you to put on your body so you will look like your mama more," Bella snapped as she laughed.
The Kirk Sextuplets started to laugh as they got all the other girls to laugh. Callie bit her lip as Nate Adams came and eyed his only niece. The Kirk sisters eyed Nate and didn't know he was Callie's Uncle.
"He would be perfect for Auntie Nancy," Tabor replied. "I wonder who he is?"
"But she doesn't like blind dates," Bella added. "Remember?"
Nate stopped in front of his only niece and poked her as she wiped her tears. She eyed him as she gave a fake smile.
"Remember meet me by my car. Uncle and niece day," he whispered. It was Tuesday as she nodded.
"I understand and can we get pizza and wings?"
"You bet," he added as he eyed her red eyes. "Why are your eyes red?"
"Um no reason," she added. "Maybe allergies?"
"Maybe," he replied as he eyed the six sixteen year old girls. "You six aren't allowed in the elementary portion."
"Sorry," they replied as they left. He eyed them leave.
"I will take you to class," he offered as Callie nodded.
The Kirk girls eyed him leave with Callie. "Who is he to her?"
"I wish I knew?" Tabor asked as she eyed her sisters as they smiled at Nate and glared at Callie.
"Uncle Nate do you like Timothy?" Callie asked. "I saw you two the other day."
"We kissed and yes we like each other. But it is hard for gay men to come out," he replied.
"Why?" Callie asked confused. "Mama and mommy are together."
"It is still different," he added. "But we are taking it slow."
"Is that why you haven't told grams and gramps and mama?"
"Yeah," he added. "Yeah. I know that they will accept me for me and that I love Timothy, but it's the world I'm worried about and society."
