"When is mommy coming home?" Callie asked in October. Lena sighed as she eyed her baby girl.

"Callie Elizabeth," Lena warned. "When she remembers and what is going on with you?"

"I'm not sure what you are talking about?" the girl asked. "Why?"

"You have been rude and talking back to adults. Do I need to give you a punishment?"

"No mama I'm sorry," the girl replied. "I just miss mommy. It's like we lost her."

"We didn't," Lena added. "She loves us."

"How can she love us if she doesn't remember us?" the girl asked.

"She does," Lena replied. "And she will be home soon."

The phone rang and Lena went to pick it up. "Hi John. How are you?"

"Good and I'm concerned about Callie. Can I come over?"

"Sure. My mama is taking the kids out to eat. What's up?"

"She had a spelling test yesterday and we need to discuss it and there's more."

"Okay," Lena replied as she called Robert over. 

Fifteen minutes later, Dana left with all the kids and John Anderson came over.

"Come in and would you like a drink?" Lena asked.

"Soda will be fine," he replied.

"So what's up with Callie?" Robert asked. 

"This," John added. "And this is not her best work."

Lena and Robert eyed the spelling test with a zero and they both sighed. "You are right. This is not our daughter's best. She didn't even do the test."

"Don't they need to come to me and be signed?" Lena asked.

"Flip it over," he added. Both of them frowned. It was Robert's signature and it was forged.

"What the hell?" Robert asked.

"She can retake it and I know about Stef and all the girls are making fun of her for Stef moving out and it sucks. She's my best student in Creative Writing and this is not her best at all."

"We will talk with her," Lena replied. The kids came home a tad bit early and Lena and Robert went to see their daughter.

"We need to talk baby girl," Lena replied.

"About what mama?" she asked.

"Mr. Anderson came to see us," she replied. Callie bit her lip. "What is this?"

Callie saw her spelling test and sighed. "A zero and you forged it?" Lena asked.

"I'm sorry," the girl replied.

"You are in trouble and it is not okay to forge our signatures and it hurt our feelings and we heard about the girls who have been teasing you."

"It won't happen again," she added. 

"We know and you get two weeks and tomorrow after practice you do your makeup test and you also have detention after practice as well."

"Yes mama," the girl replied. 

"Go get ready for bed," Lena replied.

"What about the movie?" she asked.

"After this? No and not for two weeks," Lena replied. "Get ready for bed."

"Wait? Practice your words," Robert replied.

"Yes daddy," the girl added. She left to her room very sad as they both sighed.
