Alice White sighed as she saw a hard eight year old Mariana Alma Gutierrez as she was ushered into her car that would take her to Arizona to start a new life. But, unknown to Alice White, Jackson Owens had sent Mariana's real file to the Head of CPS in Arizona, Candace Mack who knew Jackson Owens and knew he worked by the book.

Alice White Mariana to have a good life and even if she had to lie to get her into a good home.

A few hours later, Candace Mack eyed Alice White. "Why are you giving me a fake file?"

"Fake?" Alice White asked playing dumb as dirt. "Ma'am?"

"I'm good friends with Jackson Owens," she replied. "Why are you giving me a fake file?"

"He gave you her real one?" she asked as she blew it.

"Yes and that's what you are supposed to do. I know about Mariana and her issues with girls."

Alice White bit her lip. She was mad at Jackson and herself. "She deserves a chance."

"A chance? What about Callie Adams Foster or Deanna Anderson Stevenson? Did they deserve what happened to them?"

"No ma'am," she replied. "Mariana needs help."

"She does and she needs to go to therapy and counseling," Candace added. "I read her file and I called the foster family and told them of the messed up paperwork and they declined to take her in."

"That's it?"

"Yes. I have a group home and shelter that have several spots open."

"The group home and what it is called?"

"The Marie Curie Home For Girls. Here's the address."

Alice White nodded and left to the group home and eyed a hard and tired Mariana. She had a eighth birthday without her twin brother for the first time and she cried all day and night. Jesus had his party at Trampoline Town and Mariana wasn't invited because of her hatred of girls and since Callie Adams Foster and her brothers were invited since they know the bio kids of Stella and Rachel Kidd Stevens.

"So what's wrong Alice?" Mariana asked.

"The foster home declined and it was either a group home or shelter."

"Story of my life," she added as they went out for lunch. "Can I call Jesus?"

"No. He's in school and you can't talk with him since he got punished for sneaking out to see you at the shelter."

Jesus got her first spanking ever in life. His mommy spanked him bare and he was punished for a full week.

"Those moms just don't want me. They are keeping me from him."

"They have daughters," she added. "You hate and hurt girls."

"This is Callie's fault and Deanna's."

"No. This is your fault and you need to realize you have a problem with girls and need help and need to take responsibility for your actions."

Mariana rolled her eyes. "Did you like missing Jesus's party?"

"No. It was our first birthday we didn't share together," she replied as her tears spilled.

"Mariana?"

"Jesus and I were going to get adopted by a mom and dad, but they were killed by a drunk driver, but they wanted us. Both of us."

"I never knew. What were their names?"

"Abigail and Jeffrey Davis Sinclair. I miss them."

Alice White remembered the news about the drunk driver that killed the Davis Sinclair couple and remembered how Jesus and Mariana were fostered by them since birth and were going to get adopted.
