All the kids were in summer extended daycare and it was the last day of summer school for the kids and it was August 1st and a Friday. Lena eyed the guards who pretended to be janitors as they picked up trash as she walked by with coffee and huge box of donuts from Dunkin Donuts and gave them to the Head Janitor who took them with a grateful smile.
Lena walked to her office to get paperwork done and to see how many students she will have in the advanced third grade and she had to put her three oldest kids to the other advanced third grade with Nick Anderson. She sighed and knew how hurt and upset they will be and it can't be allowed at all to have your mama as your teacher and she decided to call Stef after Karina told her the three oldest Adams Foster kids will be in Nick Anderson's class.
Then a knock was heard and it was Marley Stevens and the soon to be Kindergarten teacher for her and Stef's six youngest babies with some good news.
"Hi Marley. Good Morning and how can I help you?" Lena asked.
"Good morning and this is about, the triplets and the younger twins. I just talked with their Preschool teacher and it is our recommendation that the triplets and the twins be put in Timothy Hasani's Advanced Kindergarten class."
"Really?" Lena asked.
"Yes they are great at math and reading and we feel if they were to be in my class. It will not be a benefit."
"What about Jack?" Lena asked.
"He will be in my class and also all of Callie's friends as well as Wyatt Daniels will be in Timothy's class as well."
"Lexi, Emma, Kelsey, Tayla and Tia?"
"Yes and Thomas too."
"I will let Stef and Robert know," Lena replied. "Robert and I were in all the advanced classes years ago."
Lena was happy, but felt bad for Jack. She didn't want him to think he wasn't smart enough, but she had her suspicions about the triplets and the younger twins ages ago and she smiled wide as she called them both to come to Anchor Beach for some good news.
"What's the good news?" Stef and Robert asked.
"The triplets and the younger twins will not be in Marley Stevens Kindergarten class, but in Timothy Hasani's Kindergarten class instead."
"I knew it," Robert replied. "Like mama and daddy. Like kids."
"I'm lost," Stef replied.
"Timothy Hasani teaches the advanced Kindergarten."
"WOW!" Stef replied. "Jack?"
"Um no," Lena replied. Stef sighed and bit her lip. "And Wyatt Daniels, Lexi, Emma Davis, Kelsey Winters, Tayla Brooks as well as Tia and Thomas Richardson will be in the advanced class as well."
"Jack will be alone. Why can't he be in the advanced class too?"
"He needs to get recommended by a teacher or educator and I can't be that person. Conflict of interest."
"Oh and by the way what else is up?" Stef asked.
"The ceiling," Robert added as Lena smiled as Stef rolled her eyes.
"I had to remove our three oldest from my third grade advanced roster. They will be in Nick Anderson's class."
"What? Why?" Stef asked.
"Conflict of Interest?" Robert asked.
"Yes and I don't want problems from other parents or students."
"I guess, but what are we going to tell our three oldest?" Stef asked.
"The truth," Robert replied for Lena. "Um sorry."
