A Different Way To Finding Each Other

The New Home

Mike Foster eyed his new home as he had help in the moving part by his friends Armando, Micah and his brother Mitch. Daisy and Minnie were in the backyard and Brandon and Bradley were in their new rooms at the far end of the second floor. Isabella's room was next to her dad's and Ian's was right across from her room. The master bedroom was for Mike and Nicole and their were three more big rooms and two small guest rooms. But Brandon and Bradley got first dibs and they picked the two biggest rooms. It is their birth right.

The first floor had two play rooms, a rec room and a guest master bedroom for Pop since he decided to sell his home to his son and move in with Mike. Their was even a furnished downstairs home and Mike and Nicole could rent it out.

After a few  days, all the rooms were fixed up and ready for the other members of the family to come into and see and enjoy. The detached backyard garage was divided for a music room for Brandon and a dark room for Bradley. They were both touched at their dad's gesture.

"Thank you dad!" the big twins replied. "So what's the good news?"

"Pop is moving in and he sold his home to his youngest son," Mike replied.

"That's the best news ever," the twins replied. "This is so cool."

"But?" Mike asked.

"What about Nicole, her twins and her foster care twins?"

"Well I need to talk with you two about something. Uncle Jackson is letting me be a foster parent so Ben and Tristan can come over. Um well?"

"If you want to," the big twins replied. "Katie and Keith are family. But Ben? He hurt Callie."

"I know, but we would just be fostering them," Mike added. "No adoption."

"You do realize that to foster they can't go past ten miles?"

"We do and this would not interfere with us," Mike added.

"And what of Katie and Keith?" Brandon asked. "We love them, but we have to share you with them as well?"

"I know and they won't be with us on our times together."

"Fine and we agree, but Ben and Tristan need to be told."

Mike nodded as Nicole, her twins, the foster care twins and the little twins came over.

"Nicole they agreed, but I don't want to adopt Ben and Tristan."

"I feel for them Mike," she added.

"And Ben has hurt Callie and I'm not sure if we have the budget for them. We have six kids between us."

"I know," she replied.

"And five percent," Mike said in a smile as she nodded. 

"Five percent," she added.

"Well go let Katie and Keith pick their rooms. Their are three big rooms left."

Katie and Keith each picked a room and Keith likes baseball and wants Mike to be his sponsor as Nicole encouraged her son to ask him. 

"Mike can we talk?" Keith asked.

"Dad? Don't forget we have a baseball meeting tonight," Brandon added.

"I haven't forgot," Mike replied.

"You are in baseball?" Keith asked.

"Yup," Brandon replied. "My dad is my sponsor and my mom is Bradley's."

"Oh," Keith added. 

"Hey Keith what's up?" Mike asked. 

"Um nothing," he replied as Nicole eyed him.
